Including my first ever time trial swim. Very exciting Great job!! Did everybody else on our team DIE?!!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? Oh, Happy Holidays...
I am here! I know I have been way gone, but still putting yards in the pool! I did 1650 yards this morning putting me at a little over 100% of my goal. I only have one swim day left if I can fit it in. The holidays are crashing around me, and my son has been on a concerted effort to knock off three team records for his club team (he swims for them and the high school), so it has been to 2/3 practices a day and three meets a week. On Sunday he did what he set out to do: Three records and #1 in the league for 100 Free and 100 Back, #2 for 100 fly. Sorry I had to brag a little. We travel to the Bahamas in March when he swims with the All-star team (that is payment for all the taxiing, and hours sittin' on hard bleachers).
Come on Nutcrackers let's swim! |

Right now I am about 75% and I think over the holiday may end up doing less swims but when I get to the pool may have to swim longer. Is there somewhere we are supposed to log our swim yards? Awesome AKtri! Log your swims in your BT training log. The spreadsheet has a link to your calender log so I can see what you did for each week. |

My son is 8 and currently trains with the 9-10 group for the Y team. I feel your pride! It is so cool to watch them. My son struggled in his age group when he was 13 (13/14 AG), he worked so hard and his times just weren't dropping. He turned 14 in August and Holy cow, they are flying off him. The difference in his Backstroke time between July and November of this year was 30 seconds! Gotta love those hormones. Just keep your son focused on form at this young age, and when the hormones kick in watch out! |

I am back from a trip and logged 1650 this morning. (Should have easily hit 2000 but started chatting and had to leave the extra 350 until next time.) I have one more trip out of town before the holidays but will be off the week after Christmas and will be a devoted and chlorinated Nutcracker. Come on Gina! We all need you to get to at least 10,500 for the 70% window... |

Otherwise I'll be swimming record distances to close out the year. OK Tom, your at 59% and counting, you need at least 15,310.5 to get into the 70% window. YOU CAN DO IT!

Team slack here... just got 2000 more to put me at 69% of my goal. Got at least one more maybe two more times in the pool left. I should come close. |
