Fine, I'll bite.  I'm what you'd probably label as left o' center.  Where did you learn these two jerks were taught from birth to hate us?  Who is protecting Muslim terrorists?  Really?    

Just when I was feeling good about authorities catching the 2nd known perpetrator, I had to read your post.  Now I am sad again.

I'm a participant here, apolitical to a fault. I've not expressed a view on this.

I think the issue is your delivery. You and I agree that this is most likely terror inspired by Islamic Extremist Ideals. You and I agree that we are at war with Islamic Extremism even if our elected officials and Media choose to deny it. I've even been on the battlefield (twice) fighting against Islamic extremists. I've lost friends in these wars. I'm sickened, angered, and saddened by the loss of life and the way the media and elected officials play the PC game when it's obvious. Problem is that in this case, we have one FB post of a youtube video and the rest is rumor and conjecture which we have no firm information on and won't for some time. These kids were raised here from a young age and assimilated very well. This is domestic terror. Should be tried Federally, but apparently the latest word is that the Justice Dept won't try this as Terrorism... But as Criminal activity. No idea if that means it'll be state level (ie no death penalty).

interesting. i would think this would/should be considered an act of terrorism.  the attack was on civilians; typically criminals have something to gain from their crimes, can't really see that here.  

i would also like to add that i think we, as a society, are at war with all forms of extremism, whether it be islamic, christian, jewish, and especially athiest. atheist extremist are the worst, they get together drink beer and talk about stuff.  

Dude......we would fight next to each other, believe it.....as would most here, in a time when our way of life is in jeopardy......it is not.

My young children are growing up in the same times as yours.....and they are arguably the greatest of times. What you saw this week is no accident.....even Obama got it right, we will not be terrorized. Don't hate, your kids are watching....just raise them with the same values you were raised with.....those values are built on a solid foundation. 

Nowhere in our most sacred documents is hatred mentioned as a principle of our Country.

I hope he makes it so he can suffer in some nasty prison in Mass. I'm sure they've got some really tough prisons up there...

if not im sure the inmates will make it especially hard.... for 'murica

people are very easily influence at a young age.... which is why the religious right has been trying to get the church in classrooms.

their version? you mean scientific theory, facts? if you truly believed your religion was factual you would encourage critical thinking along with scientific theory and discovery, as they would only in the end prove you right.  alas that isn't the case at all.

Wow, you obviously have some issues and no, I dont want to derail the thread. You can start a thread on that subject if you want and I'll have a discussion on that point. Or PM me to let me know you seriously want a response. But not on this thread.

I'll say that while this kid was clearly influenced by his older brother, he's an adult and he is responsible for his actions as much as Adam Lanza and James Holmes.
