KrazyLegs - 2008-04-16 8:43 PM So possible semi bad news... I am in the process of going to physio therapy to help realign my pelvis after spending so long in a a knee brace for my acl surgery and engaging these different muscles seems to have caused some groin muscle pain when I run. I am going to give it a few days of no running and do my race on sunday and see how it is. Send me positive healing thoughts!

It looks like I'm going to have to up my goal for the month for swimming.  Can I just do that on the spreadsheet, or am I supposed to tell someone?

Hi everyone,

I've been getting a lot of questions about penalties for the losers.  The two teams with the lowest overall percentages for the month will have to change their avatar to something with a flower (April showers bring May flowers...).  If you are on a losing team, it doesn't matter what your percentages are, just that you are on one of the teams with the lowest percentage.

Let me know if you have any questions!

If you want to increase your goal, go ahead and put your new goal on the spreadsheet.  The only time I need to know is if you want to decrease your goal.  Great job on finishing and having to increase!

Met my swimming goal... I will continue to up it as I swim to keep it at 100%.

I went relatively conservative on my estimations for the month... mostly due to coming off an injury that sidelined me for a couple of months. I will be @ 100% by the end of the month.

Keep it up turtles. Lets not be one of those lower two teams!

Don't up it too much.  Try keeping it at 110% as that's the max we can count from what I understand.  Might as well play the game...  Great job!

I've updated the spreadsheet with my info as of today since I'm not sure I'll get in any training tomorrow. I'm pretty close to meeting my goals, so I shouldn't have any problem finishing up on Monday or Tuesday.

Go Turtles!!!

Apologies folks, I didn't update the spreadsheet yesterday...

I managed to finish up my swim (18,750 yards total), 83% on bike, but will bike commute tomorrow, and with this weekend's race (double minutes), I'm sitting at 94% on the run and 96% overall.

Sad thing is that even with the update, our team's still sitting at 80.7%.

Let's sprint to the finish team (I REALLY want to post an avatar of my choice next month!!! )...

Pineapples are at 84%... We gotta get higher than that or we'll be pushing up daisies (in our avatars at least)

100% on the swim.
47 min on the bike this morning.  I have another 68 min to bring me to 100% on the bike.
I have a 90 min run tomorrow which will bring me to 100% on the run.

We are currently at 84.28%
The Pineapples are at 84.88%

Will we need to sport flowery avatars because of mere fractions?

SWIM. BIKE. RUN. STRENGTH. Turtles!!!

Well, I think the Onions are out of contention here (77.78%)...

Pineapples have moved ahead: 85.83%
Turtles:                                       84.97%

Less than a % difference...

couldn't wait until tomorrow to finish...got my last swim in for the month to complete the challenge.  This challenge was really great for me.  It got me back on a consistent training routine.  Going to end about 106%...the double race distances really helped.

Everybody finish strong!  We can do this and come out above the yellow line.

Awesome James and Melissa!

I have a 55 min run this morning.  It'll take me to 100% of my run.  I may be a tad short on my bike goal, but then again, we have until 12:00 midnight, right?

Lava is at 95.6% - So I seriously doubt we will get above them. It is the Pineapples or us in the second to last spot.

My bike will be done tonight after work... and I will tack on a little extra with my brick run.

Come on Turtles... It is time to sprint to the finish.

Oh looky: Pineapples 86.9%, Turtles 86.7%

Turtles - 86.95
Pineapple - 86.91
Onions - 84.66

It is gonna be really close people... Get out there and finish strong.

I would like to add that... A lot of the recent gains on the other teams are due to people pulling out to "injury" to help bolster their numbers. Keep at it and we can get there with real hard work!!
