I want to know how many pennies they want - I think that's be WICKED cool, and it comes in tri geometry (but don't tell anyone that I actually want a road bike, mmm-kay?). Love the look of that bamboo bike. They have all sorts of models too, road, tri, mtn, cross... Nice. Anyone seen a suggested retail price on those bad boys? They are definitely cool but I've not been able to find a price. It may fall into the category of bike I like to call "if you have to ask how much, Mila, you can't afford it..." |

Pro 4216 Sous Mon Diadème | Subject: RE: VIllanous Vampires Team Thread I had to temporarily change my avatar from my bat tiara. It will be back after Longhorn. Oh, and Cat pointed out there wasn't enough pink in the bat tiara so I have fixed that problem. |

I love the way you think! I can display my behind on this bike all over town. Of course there is one obvious flaw...
That bike would be even hawter in pink. Nice. I know, I know!! I figured I'd work on getting first and then ease into the custom paint conversation . |

Pro 4216 Sous Mon Diadème | Subject: RE: VIllanous Vampires Team Thread eurydice79 - 2008-10-02 12:53 AM Good morning team!!! I'm looking forward to a whole month of running! Shall we do some introductions? I already know a lot of you from the WCP&Ts thread, but those that don't know me, I am 29 years old tomorrow and I live in Western Australia. I'm married with no kids, only fur kids! I have a cat & a dog. My life mainly consists of trying to find a healthy work/ exercise/ rest balance, but despite my best efforts I usually end up burning the candle at both ends!!! I work long days so I do most of my training in the mornings before work, except on weekend when I can get up a little later. Currently I am trying to balance work, exercise, home renovations (currently we're repainting the whole house, then we'll be putting in new floors) and rehersals for a play I'm in that's finally going to happen next week. Looking fwd to meeting you all! I ran 4.6km yesterday, so I've completed 5% of this month's goal, woo hoo!
Have a very happy birthday, Magda!!!!!!!! Ummm, can you let me know when you figure out that whole balancing thing? Thanks in advance. |

She's a vampire vixen with a vampire bat tiara - I wouldn't cross her. So this post doesn't actually exist, okay?] I'm glad you understand. |

Pro 4216 Sous Mon Diadème | Subject: RE: VIllanous Vampires Team Thread Slugger - 2008-10-02 2:34 AM I'm starting off this challenge with a bang! It was a gloriously stormy and dark morning, so I scrapped the laundry and running plans and curled up with a book and some Kahlua in chocolate milk (which is called a Mexican something or other) and snuggled into my wonderful new furniture. I  storms very, very much. Almost as much as I  fall. October in particular. I will run tomorrow, promise. I love storms and fall, too. I also love your new furniture. I guess I'll run today. It's an unhappy joint day for me, though, so it will be some alternate form of slogging. |

Pro 4216 Sous Mon Diadème | Subject: RE: VIllanous Vampires Team Thread Introductions!! Ok then... My name is Mila. It's pronounced MY-la. Not Mee-lah. Say it with me "Mila"! I live I have three jobs in addition to my royal duties. The first one is that I'm the curator for a few very precious exhibits. I also own my own business where I get to put the smack down on schools that don't program appropriately for kids, particularly those with special needs. The third job is my "fun" one. I'm the second in command for group fitness at a fancy schmancy health club. I also oversee both the indoor and outdoor cycling programs for all of the club's locations in GA. I teach studio cycle classes as well as lead outdoor rides. So basically, I get paid to ride my bike... which I like. A lot. Running is sometimes difficult for me because I have an illness that is unpredictable and can often affect my joints among many other things. Therefore, you'll see that I'll log my October running in a variety of different ways (Woodway treadmill/elliptical/actual slogging/aqua jogging). Most importantly, I do not like to not win challenges. No really, I mean it. Well, let me rephrase that... I've never been on a challenge team that hasn't won. And this one will be no different. I'm glad we cleared that up. . |
