scoobysdad - 2009-01-10 6:21 PM It's looking more and more like the premiere will be moved up a day (THURSDAY, Feb. 5th) and over to the Oriental Theater in Downtown Milwaukee... anyone have a problem with that?

Unfortunately, I'd have to be out.  That's the one night of the week that I have a class I actually have to be in attendance for.  Bah.

If Thursday, Feb. 5th becomes the date, the time would be 6:30pm - 9:30pm.

I know the weeknight choice would affect the ability of some to attend, but unfortunately the cost to rent a movie theater on a weekend night is simply prohibitive. At this point, Alverno College would be the only option for the 6th, but they have to get back to me on whether the facility they can offer would be able to provide an adequate sound system.

Right now, I'm really leaning toward doing it at the Oriental because of cost and the fact I wouldn't have to jerk around trying to jerry-rig a movie theater out of a space that wasn't intended to be a movie theater. I should have a final answer soon.

I completely seconds Phil's comments.. We all greatly appreciate all the work you have done for this, and where do we get in line to order the dvd? Do we have to camp out the night before, or get there hours before -- that would make it most like IM-MOO sign-up, and I am thinking there is almost as much anticipation with the movie as there is with MOO sign-up.

Rich -

Let us know if we need to pay an "admission" price to help off set the price of rent........I'm sure we will all be more than glad to help out....................

I'll agree with the others.  If I can make it I'll certainly donate to help offset costs.
