My parents stopped by yesterday and overnight and just left. My wife has a whole weekend of baking planned, so I will be helping with that. Tomorrow night we are going to a hockey game. That's about it. Gonna take it easy with my workout today. I've been pushing the bike and run hard lately and my legs are very tired. Should probably go to the gym and do some upper body weights. |

Saturday I am gonna go for a 3m run then a bit of shopping and my husbands Christmas staff party, so I get to get all dressed up for that..yay so excited...... On Sunday I will be recuperating from the Christmas party free food, booze and rides home, what more could you want!!!! hmm that sounds bad, I really am a good person, but I stay home with my 3 boys so I am taking full advantage of an free night out! We have family arriving on Sunday so we will be visiting, cooking, lots of laughing and relaxing! |

And it was a nice "chilly" 43 degrees when I woke up here in Texas today. Supposed to be in the upper 50s to 60. Gonna get in a long run today. Tomorrow is supposed to be a high of 63 and hope to ride the bike. Tues is showing a high of 68! ![]() |

The plan is to go from my current 214 to 212 by Jan 2nd. And it was a nice "chilly" 43 degrees when I woke up here in Texas today. Supposed to be in the upper 50s to 60. I was looking at my calendar and realized I worked out every day this week. I decided to go back and look at when the last time I did that was...it was JUNE 2008!! I have been a model of inconsistency in the past and really hope to change that. And I came in at 213.5 today beating my goal of 214!! Wahoo! So to celebrate I went out and ran 6 miles! ![]() |

I am thankful for the lack of time I had to actually spend in a mall. Time to unwind a bit and then I'll hit the bike. |

I learned how hard it is to do squats while holding my 28 1/2 pound (accurate weight as of his doctors appointment today!) child. Not sure if I will be doing that again. Oh and then my 42 pound child wanted me to do it with him. I think I did 5 with him! Who needs the gym!!! |

I'm trying to figure out how to get my workouts in. Today - maybe swim at lunch. Maybe trainer ride Tomorrow - same as above Thursday - Family is coming over, maybe run early. Christmas - I don't realistically see anything happening Saturday - ??? What do y'all have planned? |

Member ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() I'm going to try to make it business as usual, if possible. I've planned for it that way, anyway...we'll see if it comes to fruition. Shopping is done...the only major thing I have to do is cook Christmas dinner on Friday. Today: It's going to be in the 40's, so I have to take a spin on the bike at lunch. Lower Body weights tonight with my wife. Wednesday: Treadmill work. 30 minute run. Stretch. Thursday: Upper Body weights, 30 minute run, stretch. Friday: Off. Saturday: Lower body weights, stretch. Sunday: 20-30 miles, medium intensity on bike. Hopefully a chilly group ride. That's my plan. Up to me to execute! |

I have a friend who's been doing P90X and loving it. Very challenging I've heard! I hope you get it for Christmas! The trainer I have worked with for over a year recommended it. Because of schedules, I had to stop training with him. I know I will be motivated to do it. I actually use the treadmill I have in my basement so I know I am ok to work out at home. A friend did just P90X for 3 months and shaved 30 seconds off her mile. I am not really doing it for that but it would be a nice bonus! I just need something to change up what I have been doing. I am 90% sure my parents got it for me. |

Today is bike/run and a little strength. Wednesday: bike/run and a little strength Thursday: We are doing Christmas dinner on Christmas Eve this year, but will still get in a workout in the morning. Christmas day: The food I ate the night before and probably the chocolate I will be eating in the morning, will guilt me into some sort of workout later in the day. Saturday: business as usual |
