Thanks for the advice.

Yesterday was my day off.  I went to the gym and ran a mile just loosen my legs up after my work out Friday.   Also did some lite back and arm weights.

I have a 45 min bike ride this morning.  I will be on the stationary bike and probably do the random hills.

I like the water challange.  I, like most of us try to drink plenty of water, but fall short.

I felt like I had a horrible 4 mile run this morning.  I have some fried chicken and fries last night at dinner.  So that is why I didn't feel right on the run today.

I am going for my swim and might do a 4 mile hill bike just for conditioning purposes, later on today.

Yesterday I did 1.2 miles in the pool in 46 minutes - felt actually pretty good. Plus that time is 2 minutes faster then my previous best for that distance - so maybe something is paying off. Today I did 4.5 in 15 degree weather - brought the wrong gloves and boy did my hands hurt as they warmed back up once home.

A 1:30 Ironman swim is pretty good. You will only get faster too, plus you will have a wetsuit (I believe) so, you will gain speed from that too. Keep up the great work

This week's challenge - WATER

Ok, since most of you are pretty good about drinking water, I decided to change it up a little. If you already drink 2 liters of water, then you need to add 25% more water to what you already drink. No, beer doesn't count...unless it's Coors light then that counts as water Post what you plan on doing today, then post what you did during the week.

I will go first.

I will drink at least 3 liters of water everyday, including the time I will be in Vegas!

H20 Challenge - I'll match you on the 3L total daily for a week.  Hardest will be Sat & Sun.

I ran 3 miles this AM.  I rode 6 miles on a stationary bike and did a quick workout afterwards (pull-ups, push-ups, sit-ups) at lunch.   I've had about 50 oz of water already today.  And that doesn't count my 4 cups of coffee or my glass of milk.

I am really bad with water druing the week. Weekends and nights much better. Will try for 1 liter/day this week and build it up. Does coffee count - there is water there.

Did 1000m drills today. 200 free/200 breast/200 kick/200 pull/200 free. Felt pretty good. First time using pull buoy and during the last lap kept trying to kick - was a pretty odd feeling.

Sounds like everbody is doing well.

I will drink at least 2 liters of water each day.

I got in a 20 min swim yesteday and 15 min run.  My asthma started acting up so I kept the rest of my run to a walk.  Bummer, actually felp pretty good.

Today is my rest day.  I am going to get in some weights and a Yoga class this evening.

I got in 3.7 miles today. The weather is actually a little hot out right now. By Wednesday it will cool down and maybe even rain, so I had better enjoy it while I can.

I did pretty good on my water. I drank 1 liter, then left work early. I didn't drink the other 2 until just now (8 pm) just so I could say I finished.

Got the water in yesterday and a hill run and swim, was going to take today off but woke up and could not go back to sleep so I went to the gym and worked out, probably all for today.

I had to stay late at work unexpectedly so I wasn't able to get in a workout.

I did still do my water consumption of 104 oz.

I am tired and a little disappointed i wasn't able to workout, but I will make up for it this weekend.

Got in a good 30 min bike ride yesterday.  I did the random hills and went up another level.  I still kept my rpm at a steady 100-104.  I am getting plenty of water.  I am drinking around 110-130oz a day.

I have a 25min run today.  It is still freezing here so I will still be on treadmill.  Did I see where someone said it was a little hot where they where?  Must be nice!!!

Yeah, it has been in the low 80's- hi 70's here, which is crazy for January. It cooled down yesterday and will be cool for a little while, then warm again, then winter will hit and we will get rain.

My car is taking a dump on me. I am going to try and limp to my mechanic (20 miles away). If this is going to be expensive, I may have a new car today

Going to the LA KIngs Hockey game tonight.  Again No workout.

But I have had 104 oz of water, so I am able to keep up with my water intake.  I can handle the drinking part.  Its going to the bathroom so often that is frustrating with the water intake.

Food, I did pretty much ok today.

I will be working out hard today.
