2 stages done today.  I have one more short one planned for tomorrow.  I need to pick up the pace, but I'll definitely hit my goals.

Got a stage in this morning.  It was supposed to be stormy, but the sun shone brightly and it was lovely!

Good luck to our racers this weekend!!!

Let's hope that's what happens here tomorrow! We're supposed to have 40% chance of thunderstorms from midnight tonight until 3 pm tomorrow... Just in time for the post-race party :/

Got another stage in this morning -- I love weekends!  I can get caught up on everything that gets pushed to the side during the week.  Now I'm right on track, and shouldn't have a problem getting 100%.

I hope everyone had a good weekend.  It was mighty quiet in here, which hopefully means everyone was out riding (and racing, of course)!  It's the last week -- how is everyone doing with their goals?

I'm almost back on track.  This last stretch will be a little intense, but I'll get 'er done!

I think we are all doing better than the real Garmin team. I have to kick Tyler Farrar out of my avatar since he quick the race.

I have 4 rides and 133 miles left but as long as the weather allows another 75 mile ride next weekend I will meet my goals.

Avatar change: Tyler is out and Ryder is in.

Did anyone see the interview with Garmin rider Dave Zabriskie? He came off as this over-talented but under-interested slacker. He reminded me of my typical college student. They are capable of learning the material but if it doesn't come easy to them they don't make an effort to learn.

80.95% of the TdF done, and our Garmin-Transitions team is at 68.67% of our goal.  Let's make it a sprint to the finish this final week!

Hi Team!

I'm back from Door County!  I think that was the hardest thing I've ever done!  I've heard people say that marathons are harder than HIM's, but I'm a much better runner than cyclist so I thought this was harder!  But I hit all my expected time goals (they weren't really goals... just estimations of how I thought I'd do based on training) and coincidentally I got almost the exact same time for my half marathon split as I did for my first half marathon race last September!  So that definitely means I'm a stronger runner since I'm the same speed as before even after the swim and bike.

I'll post a more detailed report sometime this week.  Right now, just focusing on recovery

Question, though!  It looks like I'm going to pre-maturely hit my stage goal before I hit my mileage goal.  Is that allowed?  Or will they only count the first 15 stages?  Can I up my stage goal?  I've never done this challenge before, so I'm not sure how it works.  I anticipated having to skip some of my bike commutes due to weather, but that hasn't had to happen, which is why I keep accumulating stages - I've ridden my bike almost every day this month!

You can increase your goals at any time but not decrease them.
You can call your stage count done when it hits 100 and continue to ride for mileage but you cannot count additional stages (or mileage) above your goal.

Here's this morning's team standings.
1. yogachic
2. sledge
3. Breezy
4. Abrady
5. owlgirl
6. KOM
7. tritwinmom

Oh man!  I just updated my stats when I saw this post!  I think I'm up higher on our leader board.  How are we doing compared to the other teams?

Great job on the races this weekend, Owl girl 1st in her age group, Awesome, Yogachic doing a Half very impressive!

Oh, and filled in the spreadsheet again and noticed it is still not adding into the total score if whoever can fix it again I really appreciate it!

Come on all keep on track and I think we could win this one!

Woo hoo!!  We can totally do this!  I was just looking at everyone's goals, and it looks like we're in pretty good position to get every single person at 100% or more!  (Except for our missing member, of course... They haven't checked in at all.  I know we'd gotten permission to remove them if they didn't check in after a week or something, so do we just take them off our spreadsheet?)

    Dear Garmin riders,

Sorry you're so close, but still not cutting it.  We'll be happy to take a rest day...it is currently scheduled for July 26th.  However, if you feel the need to rest early, we would totally understand.  You can do whatever you want, but remember that the peloton only waits for the yellow jersey.

    Love,
    Liquigas
