Looks like the whole east coast was hit with that storm last night. It was something. Lots of trees down in the area. I did not even look at my yard before leaving home, so hope my trees all survived. Neighbor had a tree that fell across our road. He was up early trimming off the limbs. It was awe inspiring. Glad you didn't have any nasty surprises (that you know of). I got very little sleep because of it. Between the wind and thunder and lightening and the big dog huddled up next to me shaking the DH snoring and the cat on my stomach pretending he wasn't scared, sleep was scarce. Good thing I had a BOOK from a LIBRARY on my NOOK that I could read! |

Good thing I had a BOOK from a LIBRARY on my NOOK that I could read! They were calling for storms, but as far as I know all we had was some rain and wind. I was up around midnight to let Milo out and it was wet out, but wasn't raining at the time. It was raining again on my way to work this morning. Looks like the temperature is dropping now, too.

The storm did not really bother me, but it did wake me up. Then once the storm was over, I just could not sleep. So, I too read a book from the library, but not on the nook. kns57 - 2011-04-05 10:20 AM ceilidh - 2011-04-05 9:19 AM Morning Kendra Morning Robin. MotoQueen 13195 | Subject: RE: April - RUN GHOULIES RUN!!! Since this is our running month, I'm going to complain about my running. I've been a walker up till now. I've done a 1/2 mary averaging 15 minute miles. So, now I'm trying to run, and gosh darn it if my running is just as slow as my walking. Last night we did 45 minutes. I am up to running for 1:50 and walking 1:10, so slowly building it up. But my avearge per mile for the 3.1 miles I did was 14:31 per mile. Gosh darn, I can walk that fast. My whole goal with trying to run was to be able to go faster. I'm bummed. |

It takes a little time but as you get to more of your ratio as running vs. walking it will be more evident. |

Along with the e-books, I tapped into the audio books. I have been listening to a mystery book while I run. Fun fun fun You have to pay for a library card? Well, yah! I don't live in Georgia and I am a proud cardholder of the Gwinett County public library. I have a local library card. And even though it is "no charge", it costs me $100 a year in late fees. The local library doesn't have e-book or ipod audio book capabilities, so it is a win=win situation... for ME! Edited by ceilidh 2011-04-05 1:14 PM |
