Good ride last night of 43 miles.  Brought me up to where I needed to be on the distance.  Plan to get another 15 miles in on Friday, probably 20ish on Saturday and another 30-45 on Sunday.  Totaling around to 65ish miles.

Should be a good weekend.

Got in 27 miles today as part of a tough brick workout. Like today's stage I too had a mountaintop finish (sorta, anyway).

Put in 17.5 miles today, along with 3 mile run. Today was brick day.

Probably won't put any high miles in the next 3 days. I'll be doing at least a 10 mile minimum. Gunna be super busy at work with the celebrity golf tourney in town.

Keep the pace everyone!

I meant to ask at the beginning, but is anyone racing during the challenge? This will be my first challenge with no race, just curious what everyone else is up to.

Another Down - 30 Minutes on the trainer.  I will be leaving tomorrow afternoon to go to the coast again, so i will squeeze in a morning ride, no planned ride Sat. (but if someone brings a mountain bike I will likely ride) and then 1 Hour on Sunday when I return.

Doc to answer your question, no races for me during the challenge.  I would normally have done a Tri this past Sunday, but I decided to take the summer off and do more with the family and to same money.

Everyone keep it up, I'm amazed at how quickly yall can stack up the miles.  Have a great weekend and once again I could not have asked for a better team to be on.

Okay, I got my 30 minute trainer ride tonight.  Hope I can get out of work early enough and dry enough to go outside tomorrow.

Hey, it is Friday Eve, thought I would update the team placings - BTW - it is awesome how everyone is keeping up with the spreadsheet and pushing toward the goals - We should all hit the Champs E'lyses with the team intact other than possibly one who didn't make it across the "water bridge" at the start.

Another ride in the books. I did it on  the trainer but I got it done. As for racing, I took a 2 year break from Tri's due to injury and burn out. But while I am not racing during the Challenge, I am going to race in Oct. Just a Sprint but it is a start. I usually do longer stuff...I'm not too fast but I'm consistantly med. paced and can hold it there. This Challenge is just the thing I needed to get off my butt and get moving and in doing so finding that fire again.
Thanks guys!!!

No Worries, I am pretty much on target for how I set my goals.  If I thought I would have been much farther along, I would have targeted 420 Miles!!!!

Great Job everyone meeting and exceeding your targets

Have an easy ride planned for later today. Might have to adjust my goals up (more stages). Most of my remaining miles will come on a big ride in the middle of the week. Lets finish strong team!

GREAAAAAAT Weekend for me.

Friday (recovery ride) - 15ish miles

Saturday nice long ride - 42 miles

Sunday faster pace long ride - 44 miles

101 miles in 3 days is a big goal for me.  Able to get out and enjoy the great weather before the heat comes this week.

Come on guys keep up the hard work  I'm at 88% for the team and I believe I took the lead as well.  Not sure if everyone is updated.

Man I come back from playing and yall hammered it this weekend.  I got in a 15 Minute Trainer ride Friday morning, 48 Minute Road Ride Laughing tonight, following by a 42 Minute trainer ride.  So that is 1:45 and three more stages for me.  I also added in a 30 minute run and around two hours of kayaking this weekend, which was fun and a decent upper body workout.  I couldn't bring myself to log swim at the beach and fishing because that is just plan fun.

Everyone Keep It Up, Go Team Garmin.
