MotoQueen 13195 | Subject: RE: 100 days of Ghoulie Power! My weekend was fun. Saturday got my t-shirt from the local run club. Rang the bell for the Salvation Army for two hours (part of my Rotary activities). Went to Stone Mountain park for our annual id picture and then bought some ornaments for the kids in the Crossroads village (recreated old town). Shopped at Home Depot and grocery shopping. Sunday worked on getting up the inside Christmas decorations. Got all three trees up with lights and two of them have decorations on them. Last one for decorations is my special tree. I'll work on that tonight when I get home. I gave hubby the TV room tree to put up while he was watching the football games. He started and then said that he could not find the lights for the tree. We finally had to go out and get new lights. So, we buy a very long strand that should do the whole tree. He runs out. So back to the store we go, and the second set he buys, when we get home, they are different. So I reworked all the lights and got the one long strand to fit the tree. Then when it is all up, hubby opens up a box that had been sitting just 3 feet from him all afternoon, and guess what was in the box...you are right, the missing lights! Gee honey, not only did we waste about $40 to buy new lights, we lost about 2 hours worth of decorating time! Anyway, most of the inside decorating is done, and the outside got done last weekend. Now I need to start wrapping gifts. |

Three trees! I need pics. I do two and I used to do a little one in my office. We are down to one with electric scat mats in front to keep animals from it. I am thinking of putting my tree up in the bedroom with scat mats by it but things will be real crowded if I do. The office one was cause I was in a snit- folks in the regional offices take work time to decorate but home office folks don't get to. So.... Must be the year for light goofs. Ours died, bought new ones (that I hate). I fully decorated the tree, plugged in the old ones just to check and they work. It is too much effort to redecorate now. Next year! |

I am. Part two of the challenge is 100 pages in 100 days. Okay, I think you better make that known among all the Ghoulies! We always seem to start the month out strong, and then weaken, and with the holidays that are involved in these 100 days, we need reinforcements. |

MotoQueen 13195 | Subject: RE: 100 days of Ghoulie Power! Okay, the three trees might really be 2.5 trees for one is a small 3 ft table top tree. I got that one a few years ago when I was in a bah humbug mood and did not want to put up decorations and you know that if the woman in the house does not get everyone going with the decorating, it does not get done. So about a week before xmas, I decided that I needed a bit of something to help the spirit in the house, and thus the little tree. So, my special tree for my collectable ornaments is in the dining room. The TV room (aka Front room) has the family tree and the reading room (aka family room) has the little tree in it. Once I get them fully finished tonight, I'll take pictures. Now everyone needs to share pictures of their decorating both inside and out. |

I did 3 more miles and now I get to change quick, grab a bite, and head to another office to cover for some double-booked interviews. It's a good thing I don't have work of my OWN to do. Oh wait... I'll try to check back in later, but if I can't have a great Monday everyone! |

Champion 16743 Somewhere I can be nekidd | Subject: RE: 100 days of Ghoulie Power! Good morning Ghoulies! Today is the 6th day of the 100 day challenge. How is everyone doing so far? I got a 2 mile run in this morning. It had rained overnight, the driveway was wet. It wasn't raining when I went out, but it was windy, and 54. Why is it 54 degrees at 0500 in DECEMBER? Anyway, I stayed dry, showered, got ready for work, and when I left the house at 0600 it was raining. I didn't get rained on. WOOT! |

I had very little to eat all day and, well, lets just say that today is going to be a long day. I am off to a HW site in Kings Mountain. If it weren't rainy I'd take a hike at the State Park near there. Have a lovely day! |
