As an early christmas present for the team, swam an extra 1000m today than planned. By far my longest single workout swim number at 2050m = 2225 yards

P.S. I just wanted to brag that I swam 1000m nonstop for the first time EVER!

awesome!! that's excellent!

great work everybody. let's have a great week and get ahead now because that last week will be tough with the holidays.

CONGRATULATIONS!   Major Milestone!  You're the Champ.

As for me --  working hard to keep up my leg of the team.  Ahead of week 4 required yardage as of this morning with 1 swim left this week.  Only 6k yards to go.

Keep it up Team!

Keep swimming everybody - and don't forget, there's a big bonus in the scoring when you hit 100%. In fact, if you hit 99%, it is as if you only swam 49.5% based on the way it is scored.

enjoy,

tom

Great job Tom. I am put in another 2100 this morning and that put me right at 85%. I need at least two more swims to be done. I will not be back in the pool until tomorrow night. I am also not going to have computer access until after Monday, so everyone either needs to let me know by Friday how many yards they will have in or I will need some one to fill out the spreadsheet for our team on Monday. If some one wants to volunteer to fill out the sheet for just this week then let me know. I will update it up to all Friday morning swims.

I managed 1900 this morning so that puts me at 5900 for the week, ahead of schedule.
I hope everyone has a nice Christmas, I won't be back at the pool till next week.

I can update the spreadsheet and post it if you want.

I am going to try to be done this week.  I only need another 3000 yards which I should be able to do in 2 workouts.

Awesome!! I have updated the spreadsheet through this morning and I hope to update it tomorrow before I leave town but if not, this will be the latest. Just post it to the Captain's Only thread on Monday and you can also post it here so everyone can check for mistakes.

tpetersen02 - 2006-12-22 5:56 AM DONE!! 32,000yds!

CONGRATULATIONS! That's AWESOME!

This month's swim challenge seems to have been one where everyone has pushed themselves to a new personal best distance or something.  Felt like I'd better do something as well.

So, my contribution to "firsts".  This morning I did 2000 yards, non-stop, ALL FLIP TURNS!  Felt really good.

Only 3050 yards left for me to finish up -- that's NO problem -- got at least 2 more, and probably 3 swims left to do this month.  Done better than I expected given the holidays and all.

GO CURMUDGONS!!

Ugh!  I would be done with my planned swims today and yesterday, but instead I am sitting home with a 101+ fever.   Doctor ruled out strep and I had a flu shot, so hopefully it just a cold and I can get back in the pool by next week.   I only need 2 more swims, so I am not panicking yet!

I'll still post the spreadsheet,  I'll be rotting at home anyway

nice job everyone!  We are all pretty close, so lets finish up the year right.    I got some new jammers and goggles for christmas.  Maybe they will be good for a few extra yards this week    I will have to see how much of a difference the suit makes since I have been swimming in old baggy trunks.   Should be much nicer I think.

I am not going to be able to check in on everyone but wanted to get an idea of where everyone is at and if you are going to make it. Reply here. I need one more swim and 1700 yards. Should be done before some of arise tomorrow, if I wake up!! BTW, check out the results on the Captain's Only thread. We are right there. A couple of groups had a bigger percentage that had already met goal but our percentages look good going into the last week!!!
