Subject: Spring is coming!
Hello all,

I had to change the "subject" line. The huskyboy's Group - Full was killing me

I finally have taken out the new ride! I love the bike, but it is tough gettting used
to the aero bars and transition back and forth to shift and break. I have adjusted though.

It snowed Monday! Tue-Thur is scheduled for good weather. Friday 3-6" snow expected with a break over the weekend and another storm coming through next Tuesday. It is all good as we need the snow pack here in UT.

I hope your weather clears where each of you reside!

Best,

Mark

The bike...the bike....the bike makes its debut. Ta da... Ah, to even be able to ride out doors. This snow is killing me. Rob, I wish I was in Florida like you. Basking in the sunshine....right?

I am headed out to SF again next week. Maybe I can get out and run some hills. SF is such a great city to run in. The diversity of nationality is so incredible. But more importantly, just to get outside and start training. That is what will be awesome.

I hope everyone is having a good week - I was able to do an outside ride this week, but now they're calling for a foot of snow tomorrow. On the other hand, it is March, the days are longer, we're changing the clocks next Saturday night, and this snow probably won't last long. Bring on the season!

Hey guys. Our group has been pretty quiet lately. I finally made it outside to get some running in. While in SF I ran in the John Muir Woods with the redwood and sequoia trees. Wow! I forget how beautiful those things are. Just ran 2 miles, but at least it is a start.

And now. My liver hates me for thinking i was 21 years old again. i hate it when that happens. it takes way toooooooooooo long to recover. I have no idea what i was thinking.

Bob.

Hey all - training is starting to kick in for the season. We've been getting some decent weather up here, and hopefully we'll be outside on the bikes soon.

Any of you guys have any races or other events coming up soon? Getting pumped?

That looks like a great swim set Mark - I've been going to Masters swims at the Y and they do very similar kinds of workouts.

Planning on running my first race of the season. Just a 5K on St. Patty's day. I am not in great shape (gained 10 pounds since January). I am hoping to cross the finish line within under 30 minutes. We'll see. Its a start.

Subject: How is everyone doing?
Hello all.

I have sort of fallen off of the radar recovering from my back injury.

I have been swimming, but not as much as I need to.

I hope all of you are doing well and that your training is coming along.

Take care,

Mark

Hey guys.

Ran my first 10K last weekend. I sucked, but it was a good run (97th out of 126). I had a buddy of mine tagging along that actually helped me push through the long steep hills. He is actually really hurting right now due to our run (hasn't run in 4 months).

Race went good overall. It is good to get out and run. The weather has been sporatic here in Denver.

Hope training and racing is going well for everyone.
