I suppose it could give you a decent upper-body workout....

I DO suggest bathing afterwards though....

That depends, I know mine don't stink :D

K, just ate a huge bowl of oatmeal and I'm off for my run -- should be interesting, in a running-with-a-bowling-ball-in-my-stomach kind of way....

I've been sick and drinking too much.  I'm going to get back on the training horse this weekend team!  I look like my avatar today.

You have had a tough week - and probably a lot longer than that judging by your logs.  Get well and clear your head and heart.  There is much to look forward to.

Monkeys, I have some sad news and a question.  My foot is causing problems...I have some kind of injury that is making it pretty darn impossible to run.  I am wondering if my walking counts since I don't want to let the group down, but running is just not going to be very possible till I figure out what is wrong.  What do the Monkeys say?

Pam,

Walking counts.

That said, do NOT injure your foot further just to hit your Challenge goal..... We don't want you making an injury worse.

If you continue to have problems, let us know. You can then either revise your goal, or even withdraw from the challenge if it's really bothering you.

Hope you're feeling better soon!

I hurt my shin badly trying to make the 700 club for riding. I'm still bothered by that injury and the challenge is wayyyyy  behind me.  I'd rather lose hard core than see team mates get hurt.  Be healthy!

I'm happy to announce -- really happy -- that a too-much-information report is not necessary after that run.  I guess my body is used to the stupid decisions I make

Anyone able to log their time on the spreadsheet?  I try to open it, and all I can get is "view only".  What am I doing wrong?

And I have time to log to help out the monkeys.

Hi Sledge,

You've probably been logged out of Google. You just need to log back in.

1) Go to:
http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=puhAA5NRKHA2iu5N3nuU9Jg&hl=e...

2) You will need to enter this info:
email address: [email protected]
password: challengeforum

3) You should then be able to update the spreadsheet. If not, let me know.

It's the end of Challenge Week #2!

Time to update the spreadsheet with your totals!

1) Go to:
http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=puhAA5NRKHA2iu5N3nuU9Jg&hl=e...

2) You will need to enter this info:
email address: [email protected]
password: challengeforum

3) The ONLY column that you will need to update is "Total Completed to Date."
This is the total amount that you have completed as of the reporting date.

3) You can update the spreadsheet as often as you'd like. However....

Your cumulative amounts must be entered in this spreadsheet by Sunday evening, your time on the following days:
- Jan 6
- Jan 13
- Jan 20
- Jan 27
- Jan 31

4) If you have trouble using this spreadsheet, please let your Team Captain know. He/she will be able to help you, or will enter the data for you.

Sledge,

I've added your email address to the spreadsheet. Try accessing it again. You should be able to log on now, using your "regular google account."

Yes, you can add your walking.

But -- how is your foot doing?
