I didn't push myself and only did about 1200 yards-for some people that's a lot, but I have grown up a swimmer and am perfectly capable of longer workouts...or more yardage...or more intense short workouts. Right now I am focusing of just getting in the workouts. I decided that I will wait until I have established a habit/routine I will focus on the details of the training plan.
I work well with routine too... I can understand that!!! Actually if the swim is yuor strength taking that easy so you have the time and energy for the other workouts (especially in the beginning) is really smart!  |
