 don't forget about the 10% fee you get charged to bank money,, that has messed up a few people I know when they "thought" they had it, only to not get the achievement.

if you are going for 10T,  take all the money from the you banked and get more properties.  I"m at 600 mil/hour now and it goes much quicker. the only had part is not spending the money

Yeah, it's 7% for me.

But...I thought we all decided that upgrading all your properties wasn't the way to go?  The cost to benefit isn't high enough...

I think I will stick with my original plan.  I'm going to bank it after $1T to get the achievement.  Then I am just going to go on collecting property takes until I finish Moscow AND Bangkok.  Then I will full-on go for the $10T by taking the money back OUT of the bank and doing the boss fight over and over.

Until Las Vegas opens up at which time the $$$ achievements will AGAIN get paused in favor of finishing a city.

In other news...I'm getting SO close on Moscow...second set of jobs in Chapter 2 of the third level of mastery...I am SO ready to be DONE with Moscow!!!!  Being a maniac is really helping.

JBrashear - 2010-04-07 7:09 PM I'm sure I'm doing it the wrong way, but I keep going through job levels & mastering to L3 before moving on(as much as possible, if I'm missing something like the cell phone then I keep going). That's why I'm still doing the Consigliere level even though I'm L112 and I haven't even really looked at the Moscow/Cuba/Bangkok jobs.

Well, if the Boss jobs open up you want to start on them ASAP.  When you finish Boss level you get the golden throne which doubles how much energy you get every time period...i.e. instead of 1 every 5' you would get 2 every 5'.  That REALLY helps the rest of the levels go!

I completely agree that the holiday collections are annoying! 

I'm really starting to dislike how often I have to ask my mafia for help, ie. upgrading chop shop, helping on jobs, searching for collection items.  I don't like spamming people, yet to play the game, I have to keep asking for help.

Welcome to Moscow...this is the end of Chapter 2 of the Sixth Level...and I'm on Level 3 finally.  Hopefully 3-4 jobs left after this and I'm done with that darn city forever!

Bangkok seems to move much faster...if you can keep up with the satellite phones!  I'm going with the horizontal approach in Bangkok so that hopefully I can move as far as possible without the phones and keep slowly chugging away at the phone jobs.

Also of note...you need one of the other old NY consumables for Bangkok I noticed...can't remember which one, but I need to remember so that I don't keep giving them away!

Moscow is the reason I switched to Maniac and started throwing skill points at my energy amount.  I was trying to keep it low to help with the $$$ achievements, but there was just no way to progress through Moscow without lots and lots of energy.  I finally have a high enough energy to go 24 hours without logging in and not lose points, so I'm temporarily switching back to attack/defense and pretty soon I need to throw more at Stamina since it's now actually USEFUL (for robbing).

JChristoff - 2010-04-12 9:04 PM I'm around level 320 and have ~990 in energy. I don't think I really should push it much higher as I am starting to get smoked by people at the same level with less mafia during fights. Underboss and boss was bad... but this is just ridiculous
