Keep us in you thoughts. I hope they can give me some insight as to why he had such a horrible flare (it was seriously 3 weeks long). Either way he's doing better now, and continues to get better with each passing day. Hope the specialist can give you some answers! It would be wonderful if your son could avoid such an awful flareup in the future. |

I am going to try some stretches tonight and see if that loosens it up but if this keeps up I am probably going to bail because I don't want it getting worst. So what I need is some good healing vibes/prayers/thoughts (whatever you have I will take right now!) and I am going to see if pool time and stretch time works this thing out. That means no biking for the weekend at least - hope that it goes away because I want to do my Grand Canyon tour next month big time!
is the earliest you can get in to see a doctor is the 30th? I see the chiro Monday and am taking it off until then. He will have a good idea - he is a runner also. So if he clears me up I might bag the sports doctor. So I am taking off 4 of my runs in the challenge because that is what I had scheduled until Monday. Hopefully back at it Tuesday with his blessing (or Monday night!) Sounds like a plan. Hope you get healthy soon! |

I spent the entire day yesterday buried in paperwork. Boo! But I can see the top of my desk now! Yea! Never did get to my run, though. Boo! Going to do better today. And I've made a pact with myself not to get that far behind on the piles again. Annoying to pay bills late because I just never got around to looking at them. It's just so easy to get distracted when the bike is sitting on the trainer right behind me calling my name... I need a training and housework challenge. Extra points if the bed is made before the run, bonus if all the bills were paid on time this month, etc. Would you notice if I put my bills on the pile, too? That is one of my least favorite things to do. |

This doing actual work while at work is leaving me soooooo far behind on this thread work....arent you in focus groups all this week!? and what was for lunch today? same ol sucky sandwiches? Believe me, these groups are work. And much more intense than my normal job. They bailed on the sucky sandwiches and replaced with some hideous mac and cheese concoction. They definitely failed with the caterer this week. usually we get someone good. Neal - nothing worse than bad free food. We are lucky at our work with the catering (so far I guess ) Hope the meals get better! Oh, I know. Part of me wants to eat it just because its free. The other part of me wants nothing to do with such awfulness. Ah, dilemmas, dilemmas. |

As my old boss said if you fail to plan - you plan to fail. Keep up the strong work and do a spin for me and a run while I heal! you old boss was a smart-one. i always make sure ive got the 'horizon' in focus before i come to the end of an event (in this case my 1/2 MARY) if i dont i find myself aimless/floundering... though this horizon isnt until January its good to KNOW whats up around the bend, keeps me moving onward and upward. and yes, i will most definately 'dedicate' my spin to you as you heal and throw in a run for good measure. 5x800s JUST FOR YOU! that'll actually help me get them done. they have me quaking in my running shoes already. 5x800s. WOO! HEAL WELL. stacieb |

I workout much more regularly when I have a goal so I picked some things to get me through the winter. I'll still be biking and swimming, just not as much until after the race in January. I need to pick my triathlons for the summer soon. |

My only concerns are convincing my husband and figuring out how I am going to train for the hills as I do not have many hills around me. |

Master 1726 Sacramento, California | Subject: RE: Show us your Ghoulies - Halloween Run Challenge Page #2 Ok I just got another 4 miles in this morning...and let me tell you it was tough! The temp was about 40 (so not too bad) but the wind was gusting up to 25mph and was steady at 10-15mph...and it was coming from the east and I run a north south route so it was crossing me the entire time. |
