wgraves7582 - 2009-11-13 6:25 AM The legs feels better than it did not riding so I am going to do the cross race tomorrow (if I get home front approval)

Good to hear that things are progressing.  Hope you get approval.  The cross race sounds fun.

wgraves7582 - 2009-11-13 7:25 AM Speaking of training - I think I have officially given up the elliptical for my bike again.  Went out again last night for about 2 hours and had a great time even though it gets quite cold once the sun sets!

I'll have to check the Disdain Rulebook but I don't think you are allowed to give up your disdain training for training you actually enjoy unless you want to prematurely admit defeat to Queen Stacie in the Disdain Challenge. I'm just sayin'.

Trust me Ann for the joy my bike brings to me I have no problem but I am at 8 sessions and she is at 1 and we still have some crap weather coming so I feel safe Queen will fall in behind me - you and KimC are killing it!

I have to get back on the elliptical. That can start on Sunday, my first ever 5k is tomorrow, so that is where my focus is now.

Morning team. My computer is acting up so I can't change pages or go up or down or .... I guess my mouse is dying. It being Italian and all it will be dramatic. I need to get my new computer up and running but I am such a wuss that I have no earthly idea of how to transfer all my data and settings etc to the new one.
Looks like there is a bunch of young ghoulies that are being raised right out there. I cannot wait to see the first-ever-5-k race report. How exciting. Uh... Stacie, Queen... you better get the strength going girl.. You are the QUEEN you know, you have responsibilities. You are being disdained!!!!
The Quintuplets were amazing. All with really distinctive personalities and their parents were (are) so calm and cool and patient. However, If I felt like it would be best to have my ovaries removed, just in case that could happen to me. AAAGGGGHHH. We saw them for 1 and 1/2 hour and OMG. There is indeed a perpetual motion machine and it is 5 18 month olds.
gonna run in my new shoes today!!!!!!

Stacie - A rip in the knee is nothing compared to what I've seen some kids wear to school. I'm with you though, I pay attention to things like that, too. If we're going out somewhere I won't let my kids out of the house in anything less than clean clothes. They give me a hard time about it, but quess what... I'm the boss of them!!!

Good morning Robin.

Questions for you. What is the operating system on your old computer? AND What is the operating system on your new computer? How much data do you think you have to transfer? A couple hundred MB's or a couple of GB's?

It depends on how much you have to transfer as to the method in which it is easiest to do so. Did that make sense?

the perfect fuel for my

1 mile continuous swim + about 20 mins of xtra yardage.  we'll see how far i get...the end of the year goal is TWO MILES.

and

a still disdain-full STRENGTH TRAINING session.  though.  i did find some good info on ST periodization which makes more sense than the book does.  same info.  just stated in a way that i can wrap my brain around it.

so im off to red up the kitchen and on to the Y.

more responses later on.

HAVE A HAPPY GHOULIES!

WOW, This is a pain in the a$$. Sometimes I have to use the keyboard, sometimes the tab key only and some times the mouse to navigate. I have Windows. Probably XP . this is an old old old state computer (as far as that goes). It would be GB worth. What I really fear is losing all my e-mail and bookmarks. I have two programs that I usel Mozilla firebird for personall (and stored old work e-mails) and outlook for new work e-mails and such. firefox is the web browzer.
