Subject: RE: Ghoulie September Core Challengekcarroll - 2010-09-22 11:06 AM Ann, I nearly choked the first time I saw the graph. Then I looked at the scale. It won't be too bad. I'm still looking for every hill I can find though between now and then. Good morning, Kim. I'm running home from soccer practice tonight, and I will have to conquer 2 hills that put those 2 to shame. They may not be as long, but they are definitely steeper. The graph certainly does make it look scary though. I stumbled across a website, that I wish I would have added to my favorites, where people were saying how hilly the course was, it really made me nervous. I'm not so nervous anymore. Other thing I found on the site was almost everyone said that their finish time was 60-90 minutes slower than what they expected because the course is so full it is almost impossible to pass people. My only goal is to finish, I don't care how long it takes me. The other bit of information that was almost unanimous, the finish area is a giant chaotic mess. If we are going to meet up somewhere after the race we should pick someplace other than the meet up area. |
