MORNING GHOULIES.

the boys are almost sent off for the day.

then im heading to the Y.  i have a short run to get in.

then its off to the library for work related research.

i was thinking of spending the day at the library but i think im gonna check out the books and bring them home instead.

i have client late afternoon then im meeting up with some friends tonight to take in a movie and have some dessert.

girlfriends are great when it comes to movies and dessert.

then its the same ol this weekend.  ill be at the Y Sat and Sun guarding.

i am supposed to go to an Oscar party on Sunday night, but I'm thinking I might skip it.  We just go info that there is a HUGE Oscar party going on down on the Northshore and the parking is gonna be horrendous.  not thinking its gonna be worth the trouble when i can enjoy the Oscars from the comfort of my livingroom.

that's about it for me.

ill pop in a little later on in the day.

ironannekidd - 2011-02-25 6:39 AM Good morning Ghoulies!

Robin, were you drunk posting?

No.. I was 4 am in the morning after not sleeping most of the night posting. YUCK!  I did get some work done, though!

If you weren't sleeping, then maybe you should have been drinking. Passing out is almost like sleeping.

There were lots of things I should have been doing. But what I did was listen to the chatter in my head.

Speaking of hotels.

I booked one in the wee hours of the am. Not the best or the closest of the lot but the best of the ones I could afford. It can hold 4 people so I booked it. It will be me and the DH but if a couple of Ghoulies want to camp there, that would be fine.
It is the

Hilton Alexandria Mark Center

I have a doctors appointment today and I need to make another to arrange for ANOTHER biopsy! It seems every spring I am having a biopsy! I guess I should take it as good that nothing scary has shown up thus far. But gee whiz. Biopsies hurt.

I  booked mine before I even registered. I wanted something close to the finish line. I booked last week and got a room with a king bed. Then I thought I should  change it in case anyone wanted to crash with me. I called last night and the hotel is booked solid. They made a note to change me to a room with 2 beds if something opens up.

I know being poked and prodded is no fun, but you have to do what you have to do to take care of you.

I just hope it is near some public transit. All the ones that had decent rates near the finish line were booked.

It didn't say so on the website, but you most likely aren't too far from the metro, or a city bus.

I noticed that it didn't say. Most of the others did so, hmmm. It is one of the ones recommended by the MCM site and had special rates for the event so it shouldn't be too bad.

I went to lunch. I'm back.

I have an appointment with the cardiologist on March 23. I don't know if I told you guys or not, but the HR monitor I was to wear for 3 weeks I took off after 9 days and sent back. The dam thing was driving me nuts. I couldn't take the random beeping, especially at night. Hopefully they got some useful data in the 9 days I was wearing it.

I have been feeling better lately. I haven't had any big problems that I'm aware of and the smaller ones have been fewer and farther between.

AFTERNOON GHOULIES.

i did as much research as i could until my eyes started to cross and blur.

i had my fill reading about successful interventions for the oppositional and attentionally deficient child.

now on to bigger and better things like napping

oh that and emptying the dishwasher.  LOL.

i got in a nice comfortable 1.7 mile run today.

and i'll try and sneak in another swim tomorrow during my down shifts.

feeling more and more like a triathlete every day.  YEEHAW!
