I have been working all year on the HR training stuff keeping the long slow runs in zone 1 or 2 and have avoided injury and illness all year which is unusual for me as last year I overtrained ahead of my races and got ill for a week. The running has progressed really well this year and I managed my first 1/2 marathon last weekend and even dipped under my 1hr 50 target. Thanks for your words of wisdom Dave |
