You can do this so what if ya start the race late. It'll be a little warmer but throttle the speed down a bit and you'll be good to go! Plus beer will taste sooooo much better when you cross that finish line

Oh you know I love Gunnery Sergeant Hartman!  If you survive Tri training, if you make it across that finish line... you will be an Intimidator, praying for sweat!  Ohhh Rrahhhh!

Hey Nicole, I know your nervous ~ especially with the recent break in training ~ but reconnect with that confidence that we have in you and you can have a great race.  This is the first race of the season ~ it doesn't have to be a PR, just a FUN day of Swimming, Biking and Running!  Kind of a long training day!  You can do it ~ we have faith ~ and you should too!    There might be vomiting in triathlon ~ but there is definitely no whinning in Triathlon!

Our mission today and for the rest of the week ~ if you ladies (includes Todd & Eric) choose to accept it ~ is to calm the fears/anxiety of the Intimidator and remotivate her in a positive way to want to race St. Anthony's!  What can we do?  Blanket party maybe?  No Todd - not that kind of blanket party ~ get your mind right!  You know, bars of soap in towels - pin her down with a blanket and beat some snot rockets out of her!

Yep...MORE/Fitness Half Marathon.

In a blanket party, the victim is restrained by having a blanket flung over him and held down at the corners while he sleeps, then the remaining members of the group strike him repeatedly with improvised "flails" (a sock or bath towel containing something solid, most commonly a bar of soap).

x4.  I waited til the last minute a few years ago, and I'll never make that mistake again.  I used my state refund for play tri toy money   Picked up a wet suit (finally) and now just trying to decide on aerobars.

I'm still feeling like a giant p.ussy as it relates to the race today, but I set a meeting with my boss (also doing St. A's) on the Friday before the race to go pick up our packets together... so I know that I'll make it at least that far.

Thank you so very much for all the encouragement though.  Who knew I would have a panic attack when it got so close?  Lol.
