mchally - 2009-02-21 9:01 PM I really need to go grocery shopping.  I have imitation cheese, imitation butter, salad dressing, eggs, a can of chili, 3 bags of pasta, some instant soup...um that's about it.

That sounds like it would be really good together.  Minus the soup maybe.

NW includes all of washington and oregon as well as some of idaho and montana I believe.

The PNW is more temperate than a lot of the other areas.  E washington has fairly harsh weather.  super hot and dry, super cold and windy, etc.

Wait!  I just got cream of portabello mushroom soup and potato leek soup.

I bet that I have some more good stuff hiding out somewhere.

none the less I still need to go grocery shopping.

The Front Elavation, the first floor, and the second floor.

I can make it for a few days if I need to...my parents are close.  I am actually grazing at their place right now and found some food that I had stashed in the freezer and pantry last month.  I also am taking a selection of meats from the freezer.

I am sure you are handy to have as a next door neighbor as well.  you can take care of an odd job now and then to earn the grazing privileges.

I like it but end up maintaining two houses for the price of one.  I don't mind though cause she is great!

I don't have a house, but I get to do quite a bit of maintenance anyway (and then some).

My mom hired some electricians to take care of some stuff.  Yay!  they took care of a few things that were on my to do list as well as some stuff that I wouldn't have tackled.  They added some circuits and outlets.  The bathrooms are no longer on the same circuit.

My mom managed to buy a new light fixture for the living room the day they finished.  It didn't take long to get something else back on my 'in the attic projects' list.

That is where I benefit from not officially being an electrician/plumber/painter/gas fireplace insert installer...the list goes on and on...

Mine broke a few weeks ago so I had to get another one.  I called to see if mine is under warranty and they said they would check and put me on hold forever.  Finally the girl asked me if I knew how long I had it to see if I was possibly under warranty.  I could not remember so I inquired and found out that Verizon has a 15 day warranty on their router/modem combo...WTF is that 15 days?

I am not most of those things either but when people (my wife) know you are a Gengeral Contractor they assume you know everything and volunteer you out to all their friends to do just about anything.

Ahh, but a general contractor can do anything that is related to residential construction.

NOT a warranty.

We've had our router for about 5 years, so it's not so bad that we had to replace it.  We paid a little extra and got an energy star one.  Not sure if it'll make that much of a difference, but it seemed worth the extra $5.
