Okay, Ghoulies.  I have just mailed out two applications for two different director jobs.  WTF am I doing?  I keep telling myself that I don't really want the positions and that I am just doing this for the practice, but I think I really do want to get one of them.  Both of them would have a commute, and they are in opposite directions of each other from my house.  One would be a one building system, the other is a 9 building system in 6 counties. 

Now I have to go and lead a branch meeting here.  LOL, little do they really know what is on my mind.

1) They may make you an offer you can't refuse

2) You could always turn them down

3) Nothing changes

Seems like you are spreading your wings a bit. It is nice to have options, sometimes. At least you have something productive to think about in the branch meeting this time.

Thinking about Cabana boys isn't productive?

I am heading to Nike Expo to meet my daughter so we can pick up our packets...then we are going to lunch at her boyfriends cafe ~ then I take the train home and head out on our beach cruisers to a nearby venue to see one of our all time favorite bands....busy day and I should be resting! I have been sick and feel better but will be drinking emergency drink not my regular beers or margaritas next week is even crazier...will tell you all about it...next week! haha have a great day/week/weekend and thank you THANK YOU ~ THANK YOU!!! ghoulie hugs from your ghoulfriend xoxoxo hope everyone is doing well...think of you "ALL" all the time!

Melindy still in the VIP lounge at one of our local airports? Is dee checking out the shortage of pumpkin spice at the coffee shop? Is Cole still playing football and the dh still on that no good for nothing team that doesnt appreciate your help? has neal or tom re-surfaced? seems we lost them!?! ..I promise to come back....at least to fly by next week to look for the updated post...then in a few weeks I should be back and able to rule the topPage again!

Yes, he's still playing. 3 weeks to go yet, 2 games. They don't have a game next week, then the following week they play at home against the team they played last night. They lost 6-0 last night. There was a HUGE, but FAST, nose guard on Caleb last night. When he got home he told me that that kid wouldn't get past him the next time they played, then he asked his dad to show him some blocking tips. The kid likes football, I just wish his teammates wouldn't  be such jerks.

The girl is still playing softball, but Saturday is the last 2 games for the fall. She will be playing 2.5 miles from home next year.

Okay there Ghoulies, I am off for the weekend. I am taking my Mom back to Fla and Flying home on Monday. I'll check up if I can but there is no guarantee of internet access. Have lovely weekends all and

Unfortunately thinking about cabana boys or other jobs could not really be on my mind since I had to run the meeting.  Getting people to talk is sometimes like pulling teeth.  But, gee, in the 30 mintues after the meeting is over, how many people stop in my office to say what they would not say in the meeting.  The most important part of any meeting is always the unofficial meeting that takes place afterwards. 

Have a safe drive down and a nice flight back.

I hate it when I get a late start and miss saying hi to everyone!

I did get out and run today though. No treadmill yet. I ran outside in the sunshine.

Not much in the way of mileage, and doing some alternating with run/walk, but a run just the same. 

That reminds me.  I need to get the treadmill doctor out to look at mine.
