Well, if you're caught, you have to wear a scarlet A on your clothes. It's no big deal...people just think you're rooting for Bama... i'd rather people think i was an adulterer than a bama fan. |

I think I'm going to go try a new dance class at the gym and then an abs class... and then maybe a short run? In the fabulous news section... we signed the Green Card papers yesterday and they should be send to USCIS on Monday!!! In the are you kidding me section... the big "potential" problem that Tony and I might face is the fact that my ex and I weren't divorced until March of this year, so we could be accused of committing the crime of adultery and because of that I could potentially be denied a Green Card... um... what? It's not likely according to the lawyer, but it is technically a crime. Awesome! i find it hilarious that adultery is a crime in amurrika. if we thought prisons were overcrowded NOW.... Exactly! We were sitting in the lawyer's office yesterday with what was surely a look of incredulity on our faces at the fact that THIS is what could possibly put the kaibosh on my Green Card. Adultery? Really? |

There's a question on the application that states something to the effect of "have you ever committed a crime anywhere for which you have or haven't been arrested"... and that's when the lawyer dude brought up the fact that because I wasn't divorced yet we were technically committing the crime of adultery. I'm such a badazz. |

I'm pretty sure I can't claim that I've been sleeping on the couch the entire time we were living in a one-bedroom place. Besides, I'm pretty sure that lying to the USCIS officer during the interview would be infinitely worse than the 'crime' of adultery. |
