Since you and Amy both asked, I have to admit that I'm not sure what I'm doing about CB. I have taken a lot of time off lately, I need to check and see how much vacation time I have. I have also spent a lot of money on medical bills lately. If I do go, can someone else rent the car. I was going to get one, and I think so was Kim. That would save me some $, too. I'll let you know soon. Robin, my apologies. I have a check for you sitting on my kitchen counter. I'll call home in a little bit and see if I can get someone to run it out to the mailbox. I'll let you all know as soon as I know what's going on. My next cardiologist appointment is on the 20th, my flight out is on the 21st. Ann, progress towards a diagnosis is good. I hope C'bad still works for you, but health always comes first. I will have a car for sure. What she said. BUT, I am sure sitting by a pool in SoCal sipping margaritas would be prescribed by your doctor! The DH and I will have a car, too. Oh, if I can get a prescription for it I can submit my expenses to my insurance company!!! Pre Doc Melindy or internet Doctor Kim could do that for you. Done. Plus I recommend that it is served by a 'hawt' tri-dude. I believe there will be a few hanging around. Do you like your drinks served by shirtless hawt tri-dudes, or do you like to leave more to the imagination? I am not picky! |

No, The hubbie is happy though, I can't talk to well. I am going to work as long as possible today. You just have to get through today and tomorrow, then you have a 3 day weekend to rest up. I aim to be better to do the Polar Plunge on New Years. The DH thinks this is a stupid idea. He is probably correct. We will see. Is the plunge in Lake Lure? How many other "bears" will be plunging. I think it is something to do once in your life. |

I think it is something to do once in your life. It is in Lake Lure. Last year there were 50 or so. This year promises to be bigger. They have advertized it well. This is the year to do it. The temps are going to be near 50 degrees. |

There is not enough snow here, regularly for me to invest. I know Kim does it, and a friend of mine got snowshoes for Christmas. We normally get enough snow to make it worth my while, plus I live in the middle of nowhere and have lots of places to go. Just following horse trails would give me more miles than I need. |

There is something so peaceful about being out on freshly fallen snow when everyone else is bundled up inside. One caution: watch out for hidden ditches. I slid into one on Monday and got a pile of snow down the back of my pants. Not pleasant. |
