NICE!  I got the BLUE outside at the battlefield.  It was windy as all get out but I was overall 8 min faster on the 16 mile loop than last time I rode it with Swet Mama.

Still need to pick something up for my mom and mail it.  All she wanted was new pictures of the kids which I sent anyway.  Think I'm getting her a gift cert. for the movies so she can get out once in a while.

I went sledding in a super cheap plastic sled.  I took it on a forest trail with switch backs.  It was awesome.  To turn the corners I had to shift all of my wieght and tip the sled onto a 2" strip at the very edge. With that little surface area in contact with the ground you can get going pretty quick.

I am glad that Maneesh insisted on a test run of his niece's new sled.

Awesome job on the RUN!!!!

I still got to pick up a few little things... coffee mugs, take 5yo shopping for dad, figure out what else I'm getting hubby aside from clothes (and maybe a new snow shovel)

I don't think I'm gonna be ready until Dec 26th

My brother gets in tonight and I know I wont do much in the way of cooking tomorrow, although I will hopefully get in a ride if my bike is back from the doctors!

I did an excellent 7 mile run today and finished Christmas shopping and almost finished wrapping Christmas presents!

how're things going?

Not to bad - apart from the bike having to go to the docs today! 

Im on holidays now so Im just enjoying having the house to myself although there seems to be SO MUCH to do before christmas!

I did an excellent 7 mile run today and finished Christmas shopping and almost finished wrapping Christmas presents!

Way to go!!! I thought I was done with the wrapping etc but I picked up a couple of extra little things over the weekend so I have to do just a bit more wrappgin!

it always seems to go that way, no matter how orgaized I think I am..........

I'm feeling in pretty good shape, I actually would have finished it up tonight, but I need to get a few more decent boxes

Fair enough... Im at the point where i know all the chaos and cooking has to be done in the next couple of days so Im feeling a bit tired just thinking of it!

I think I've figured out what we are going to have on Christmas Eve and on Christmas day

On Christmas Eve, we're going to have shrimp in angel hair pasta, and on Christmas Day a traditional Ham, still working on the side dishes

Side dishes - I just have a kind of plan then see what is fresh when I go shopping... less hassles then if you cant get something OR if something you want is super expensive!

Although my brother is coming shoppping on chrissie eve so I wont be surprised if I end up with all sorts of stuff I wasnt planning on..
