Okay okay.  I'm going later I promise

I am going to see an NP today (the drs were all booked).  I am feeling a little tiny bit better, but am not anywhere near well.

I dozed off with an open water bottle in my lap last night...woke up an hour later drenched.    I think that sleeping under the wet blankets helped knock back my fever.   

I didn't particularly enjoy stripping off all the wet bedding and digging out dry sheets and blankets at 3 in the morning.  

 ok, enough whining.  I hope everyone manages to get out for some peach time today.

And it was peachy running.  That's what really counts!

I remember it was always a bit stressful when my mom went out of town...mostly because you never knew what my dad was going to make for dinner...he is a pretty good cook, but he tends to throw odd things together...generally they taste good, but look rather odd!

I assume we are talking  basketball...it would be even more innappropriate if we were talking about a HS swim meet 

Well, no layoffs this time around.  But all associates are being forced to take a 2 week furlough and they cut out bonuses.  2 weeks unpaid......that's gonna hurt.  At least I won't be at work though
