You have a good hike yesterday, Ann?

We had a very easy one- a walk really, with the doggie. She was a happy camper!

I had a good time on the hike. The leaves are peaking. Part of the hike was up on a ridge, so we got to see the valley below. It was perfect weather and the leaves were gorgeous. I took my lab, Milo is too young yet. It WORE HER OUT!

The leaves were at their peak there too. They would be this week but the rain and wind (we are FINALLY getting rain) will bring them down instead.
That's okay, I need to work and not just gaze out the window wishing I were kicking around in the leaves.

It is supposed to hit 70 here this week several days. We also have a chance of showers everyday.

ironannekidd - 2010-10-25 8:16 AM Question for the group

I believe we all agreed that if someone was injured, their progress to date shouldn't affect a team.

What if someone just stops participating. How should that be handled?

Too bad in my opinion.

In the end I don't honestly care but I have always looked at it injuries happen and you cannot control it.  Even when I was I still switched off to aqua jogging and did sessions and met my challenge goal.

Just my opinion.  I have won 2 challenges in all my BT challenge time so I am not truly effected by it one way or the other!

That's how I feel. An injury shouldn't affect the team. If someone just stops participating though, yeah, it's going to hurt the team. Sorry, but that's how teams work.

FWIW, I agree, Injury shouldn't affect the team. In the past, folks that never played the game-never showed anything on the spread sheet- were taken off. The ones that just stopped playing- they were kept on.

IIn the long run, I don't really care either. I use the challenges to get my butt going.

But it is the injured person's responsibility to follow up to the challenge leader - not teammates!

I agree with that, too. I know everyone likes to win, but it really is each individual's responsibility to take care of themselves.

Oh yeah. I have a sweatshirt that is too big I was going to take along to get rid of. I also want to pick up a pair of the $1 gloves to wear and toss, too.

I think I'm either going to have to start throwing stuff into my bag, or get a bigger desk.

I'm on the meh train. I have also won 2-3 challenges and generally it is inevitable that someone will fall off the training train because they lose interest. I will admit last Dec it was probably me who did it to some extent. I remember falling off drastically at some point. This challenge is a bit weird in some aspects because everyone who stayed in the Ghoulies is a tad neurotic (whether you want to admit it or not) about completing challenge goals. If it were a completely new team we would have some people who fell off cause they lost interest too...

Just my thought process on the matter.
