I read your log. Thanks. So much for the mild weather recovery ride that was supposed to happen. So you rode up the mtns from SC into NC? (And down the mtns, too.) There are some "interesting" roads around there. Yeah. We start at Tigerville Elementary near the North Greenville University campus and ride up to Saluda, NC. It is a decent climb. We usually stop at a bakery for some sweets in Saluda, but it is closed this time of year, so we went to a cafe. Their muffins weren't nearly as good, but the coffee was nice and warm. Normally, the fun part is the descent, but not today! |
