barqhead - 2008-06-16 9:50 AM Good morning. Nibbs. My kids got one of their workouts done. It's two-a-days for them this week at swim team. I'm still resting and recovering, but am now back on a healthy diet. No more Dunkin Donuts (or French fries).

bummer

LOL

Feel free to send the Dunkin Donuts my way. I'll eat 'em.

The coconut ones were especially tasty

Coconut. Bleh.

I'll take the non-coconut ones.

More for me! (edited because I messed up the quote-thingy)

I heard that...

Race report up...finally...I REALLY appreciated the inspires and encouragement...please ignore the fact that I've done horribly at inspiring...I'm probably a week behind...

Nice race report! And great race.

And totally makes me want to do one... its like a fantasy thing I want to do 'one day' - a HIM and everytime I read a RR I start fanticising about doing one again

You will... You just need to get healthy again first.

he's here! - how does he do it????

I think he lurks on BT all day, and reads all the posts. (Even though he pretends he's not really here.) Then, he picks the moment to pop in and announce that he's here.

heh

you might just be on to something!

Umm yeah when I was a kid I always wanted to play the flute... I did recorder since i was 6, then the violin from about 7 and finally they let me try the flute at about 9... I hated it!!!

Picked up the clarinet at 10 (as well as doing recorder still, dabbling back in violin for awhile and doing piano off and on) and I havent looked back!

I honestly believe that its not just being musical.. it might just be that it wasnt the right instrument for you!

Yeah.  They don't resonate the same way.  I have a thing for wood and resonating, though, since I play violin, viola, and piano.
