Just slides off after a couple miles in this heat and humidity, even after letting it *set* for a while. Texted my PT and she recommended using NewSkin or Tough Skin underneath. I just ordered some from Drugstore.com. I also ordered some new tape from Rocktape.com. I got the red biohazard pattern. Red matches my tri top. We used tough skin when I was in the training room in HS and college. It will definitely make it sticky, along with the rest of your skin that gets sprayed. I need to get some more, I'm almost out. I have found that the longer it is on the stickier it seems to be. With running in the early mornings I haven't had much humidity to deal with though. I'm already planning on running the MCM in my capri CW-X tights. I'd run in them all the time if it wasn't so warm out. I love them for my knees and hamstrings. I run in those same tights. LOVE them. It's too hot most days now to run in them though even in the morning (for me at least.) I've been running in regular shorts or my girlie skirt and the knee tape just doesn't hold. I've been running in compression shorts. I forgot to use it the other morning when I was doing my hill workout and I noticed. It really does make a difference. I've been meaning to pick up a pair of the CWX shorts. I just have the capris and long tights. I have the capris and long tights, too. I wonder how compressiony the shorts are. I wish I had a little more support on my hamstrings in the compression shorts I'm wearing. I look pretty hot on Sunday's after my long runs when I'm sporting the capri tights and my day glow green compression socks. I haven't tried compression socks...yet. I do have a pair of zoot compression recovery tights. I wear them after any run longer than 9 or 10 miles. No soreness at all the next day. As a bonus, it is a total upper body workout getting them on. Makes Spanx look like tights for sissies. Borrow some from Ann. She has more than 100 pairs of socks. I wouldn't have enough drawer space for that many socks. Do they have their own room? Hi, my name is Ann and welcome to my home. This is my kitchen and here is where I do yoga when the kids haven't left their toys out. And THIS, is the Sock Room. this is TOOOOO funny! Have you been spying on my house? |

The Zoots ride a little low across the hips on me, but they are uni-sex and I have a 36" inseam. On the other hand, they also provide support for your instep and ankle which I like vs the ones with out a stirrup foot. |
