TinkerBeth 23096 Liverpool, New York | Subject: RE: They Who Shall not be Named II barqhead - 2007-11-15 2:28 PM lastcall2003 - 2007-11-15 2:55 PM I've been to one who works on lots of runners and is a runner himself. I guess I'll have to give him a call. I will try to adjust my goals to compensate for my injury. Maybe swim in place of pilates from here to the end of the month. I don't want to give you any more work, Beth. I hate being injured!!!!barqhead - 2007-11-15 11:08 AM kns57 - 2007-11-15 11:52 AM No. She thought it should be healed by now. She is afraid that it has healed around the knots and that the knots are now set in. So when I stress my hip flexor, my body fights back with immflamation. So she believes I have to "break it back down" before I can move forward.barqhead - 2007-11-15 10:46 AM Back again. Glad to see all the action on the thread. Max, you put my legs to shame! Sal, good luck on the 5K. Somehow I think you can handle it. A marathon before a 5K? That's just nuts! Hello Mila, Beth, Kendra and Tammy!!! Well my chiro kind of rained on my parade. She did not like the feel of my ropy hip flexor at all. She fussed at me for ab work, she fussed at me for running. She told me all I was doing was laying muscle on top of knots that need to be gone before I can add strength. Also that I was most likely fraying the ends of my tendons by trying to stretch without the knots gone and that I could risk another tear. Well, eff!!!!!! WTF am I supposed to do? Bummer. Did she have any estimate on how long she thought that might be?can she recommend a good sports massage thearpist to help? I was in a similar situation with my shoulders a few years back and my massage therapist worked wonders! No worries!!!!! just do what you need to do to get better!!! give him a call - maybe he can help, should we add it to your goals? ;-) |

Any ideas/requests? avatar wise, try to find something that means something to you. I have changed mine several times now depending upon my mood. Dee has also changed hers, sometimes by choice, sometimes when forced to be a twinkie. My lates avatar is my two grandsons at halloween. The one before was my puppy dog, and before that I had a smiley offering an apple (Oct challenge I was on the poison apples team). Can't wait to see what you choose.I agree... your avatar can become your identity pretty quick! My old on was a close up picture of half my face with sunnies on as I was giggling.... weird but it worked! This one a BTer made for me when I had some bike success earlier in the year... somehow between now and then Ive developed a bit of an identity with it! hmmmmmm, wonder what my avatar says about me???? not sure I want to know - lol Hates putting together presentations? Master 1397 Granvile, Ohio | Subject: RE: They Who Shall not be Named II Donto - 2007-11-15 3:41 PM Weekend do list Part 1: Sat AM: Core WO then mow the yard. Sat afternoon: Test drive a Toyota then drive down the street and test drive a Saturn. They know my lease is about up on my Murano and I'll receive a $50 gift card from Toyota if I come in and test drive any of their cars. Saturn is giving me a $15 local grocery store certificate to test drive one of theirs! Sat PM: Heat the hot tub up and relax!
Wow, you got it made after getting the hard stuff done Sat. am. That's the way to do it! I WANT a Murano, but I got the last car, so it's not my turn. Have fun! |

TinkerBeth 23096 Liverpool, New York | Subject: RE: They Who Shall not be Named II Posting the notes a little early today - I have one last meeting and then I am headed to get a manicure and pedicure :-) Nibbins Notes: 11/15/07 (you can also check page 39, for the nighttime adventures of the nibbins - that sounds waaaaay more exciting than it is - LOL)
Tammy – First to arrive in Nibbins this morning. She wants to borrow Max’s skirt???? She may be riding the Silver Comet trail – which is an old converted rail line used for biking – (not an *innuendo* LOL) Kendra – 3 mile run AND 3 miles on the drainer – WTG Kendra!!! She and the hubby are thinking about getting rid of the landline, she’s looking for thoughts on the topic. Went to the dentist – not fun. Sal – The thread ambassador defended the Twisnibbins honor with guns a’blazn’ - Nicely done Sal!!!(he also extended and invite to come visit, in true Nibbins style – again – nicely done!) He is doing the Turkey Run next Thursday – so lots of cheering him on Nibbins style is expected!!! Judi – got a her hair cut today (I cannot wait for Saturday when my appt is) – oops sorry, this is about Judi ;-) Pam – Hip is stiff, she went to the chiro – didn’t like the news she got L. Yummy school lunch today with her daughter (that is the stuff memories are made of!). Send her lots of good wishes J Mila – Taught us how to say octopus – “ossa-poose” – how cute is that!!! Hope she enjoyed her play on BT all day a rest day ;-) Mila’s bike is sassalicious! Sharon – giving blood today and will be choosing to ignore the “no intense exercise” advice. Some solid advice was shared to ensure her safety on the Eliptical. Donto – Also having a school lunch today, hmmmmm – must be the season! Hope he survived the double serving of Turkey and didn’t fall asleep at work. At least if you’re playing on Twisnibbins and people hear the clicking of your keyboard – they assume that you are working – sleeping is a little harder to cover up – LMAO Max – claims his incredibly big post count is not due to chattiness – I guess that remains to be seen! He set a goal for 2 hrs on the drainer – Go Max! – (oh wait, he’s not actually on the Twisnibbins team) – oh well – Go Max! Oh, and he’s ‘blaming’ Cat for his appearance on the thread – I’m sure Cat may have something to say about that. Hector – working some really long days. He had to review over 20 power point presentations (talk about h3ll!!) – be sure to inspire him!!! (oh and buy him a beer – sounds like he needs one!) Kristen – ‘hearts’ the Twisnibbins and loves us, and not only for our excellent snack advice! Kristen, we ‘heart’ you tooo! Cat – picked up her orthos – woo hooo!! Had to work Boo Hoo! Amy – looking for input on an avatar Heather – recommended a lovely avatar for AmyOther Topics I will be here tonight, but gone all day tomorrow - I'll be in PS all day leave at 5 am, return at 11:30 pm Edited by lastcall2003 2007-11-15 4:39 PM |

Oh, but then I get one in another pink one
Mmmm.. i LOVE pink hmm I think you are right.... but pink and sliver always look good together... then again silver and blue to do... Trek Equinox 7 WSD 2008 - thats the colour scheme and I think it looks nice! hehe at the moment I have a red/gray/black roadie and a blue mountain bike... neither of the paint schemes set me on fire though! I know what you mean. Mine's not real exciting either. I do have my eye on one though.....

I personally kind of like not having to scroll - but, I'm game to keep going. I will not be around tomorrow at all, I will be in PA, my flight leaves at 5:50 am and I return to Omaha at 11:30 pm - doubtful that I will make it through all of the posts that ouccur while I am gone :-) At the rate we are going, it is highly likely we will reach 60 by tomorrow or Saturday at the latest.
