November Challenge - Week 2 Results

November is now 60% completed. Are you meeting your goals?

Even though we're organized into teams, your goals for the November Challenge are really INDIVIDUAL ones. Therefore, I'm listing the results by INDIVIDUALS this week. That way, everyone will know exactly where they stand.

There's a good chance that I missed someone, so if you're supposed to be on a list but aren't -- well, it wasn't intentional. (My eyes started to cross after awhile.) If your name is missing, please DO brag about your progress with your teammates, so you can get the congratulations that you deserve.

People who have a goal at 100%: (Note: You don't get credit for more than 100%. So if you're there already, think about raising your goal! It is only November 19th, after all.)

enders_shadow - 2007-11-20 10:56 AM I hate packing. I hate it. I hate it. I hate it. I don't want to pack. And it's only for 6 days. And it's going to my own house, so I don't really have to bring anything except my tri-gear, because I have most everything I need at home (or at least something that'll do). So why am I putting this off? Why do I hate packing? Kristen

I HATE packing too... I ALWAYS leave it to the last minute... then pull out more stuff than I need, then have to try and cull it all to a 'realistic' amount... it sucks!

At least youknow you dont need to take much.... crank up some tunes, have a glass of wine, and just do it!

Tunes yes, you need Tunes!

enders_shadow - 2007-11-19 5:24 PM Exhibit A that Kristen is procrastinating tonight. Kristen

Aaaaccckkhhh!!!  Hilarious...and btw, Kristen...I was NOT comparing YOU to beaker, however, that IS a funny visual...

You came back! What did you make for dinner?

Pollo Tortilla Sopa (Chicken Tortilla Soup) http://www.colophoncafe.com/pdf/pollo_tortilla_sopa.pdf

The soup is good...with the other toppings, it's gonna be awesome (sour cream, advocados, mozzarella cheese...for you folks out there on weight maintenance, this recipe may not be for you...).

Can't wait 'til my wife and son come back from shopping...(shopping for clothes for my son's Senior pic...I'll have to post a pic of him in my album...from what I hear the chicks think he's pretty good looking...)...

Thanks Sal!

Sounds yummy!

Whoo whoo! We have progress. I have a full suitcase.

Do I have everything I need? I have NO BLOODY IDEA. I don't even know what I packed. I put the running shoes, the swim gear, and the construction worker vest (what my hubby calls my reflective running vest) in first...and then I just put as much other stuff in there that I could.

(I'm hoping to leave half my suitcase worth of stuff at home this trip to minimize what I need to bring back in my car in December...if I didn't take public transit to the airport, I'd probably send home 2-3 bags...but I can't wrangle them on the bus & train.)

I may eat Thanksgiving dinner in my running gear, but that isn't all bad.
