Ocean swim with a BT'er who is also a lifeguard. Awesome experience. Little more open water swimming, first time getting tossed around in open water ( by teeny tiny waves). And this water was actually clear enough that you could see for 15 feet.

It's been a great ride.  I haven't been super-chatty this season, though.

Good luck with upcoming races all!

Cash, I think it's time for you to head up a mentor group.  You've given great advice to the newbies this season!

You can take the cold out of the gi... you can take the heart out of the prin... hmmm... yes, yes, I will continue to be cold-hearted and evil.  Why just today I blogged in SMALL font to inflict pain and suffering .

Yeah, I think Cash should head up a mentor group.  Maybe he can get me to behave.  Poor Sal might need a break .

I would sooner tackle an Ironman than to try and 'get' you to behave...

Great idea!  So what will it be.  Florida?  It's a short drive for me.  I'll come ring my pretty cowbell.  I can even wear my cowboy hat if you want.  In fact, I was wearing it just today!  Giddyup.

Good thing because no one can get me to behave.  It's sort of a problem .

AHEM... are you spreading vicious rumors, Cash?!  Look what I found from Ron... no expiration date as far as I can tell!

Did your mentor group thread get moved to this forum?  If so, chances are it was to make room for a new group.  There are several options to continue with your group here or to disband:

What happens next?

  • Your group can disband
  • You can join a new group if available with the newest program if you still want to be mentored.
  • OR your group can keep going here should you like, even if the mentor leaves.
  • You can also still link your group thread and members into your training log to stay in contact.
  • Your old group thread will still be available here to use and post on.

Yes got it from slowtwitch.

The thread isnt ugly yet, but slowtwitch forums are like a mass swim start, people will be bashing each other, just to show who has the most testoterone and or bank account.

Doubtful. But I will learn a lot.

She finished 19th out of 56.

Can't imagine doing that, and a week later being halfway around the world and teaching noobs.
