Medications wreak all kinds of havoc.

Eh, that's fair, though. And not necessarily anyone's fault. I just meant, per Ryan's comment, that there is this stereotype that women become all frigid when they get married. Which I don't know is necessarily true. Now, physical/medical conditions are a totally different scenario.

My statement was in response to Ryan's, as a way of providing perspective.

I am thoroughly amused at the whining that goes on about not getting any (I'm amused by the general lax nature people have discussing personal business on a public site, anyway).

However, when it comes to the realm of interpersonal relationships, I hardly look to Ryan as the gold standard.  Or any standard.

See, it's just crap like that which makes it worse. No wonder this country has a 50% divorce rateĀ - everyone goes into it expecting to fail...

My marriage was great until That Fateful Day. *That* could have happened a bit more frequently, but it wasn't drought conditions.

Oh, I'm not really whining - it's mostly in jest. It's been my choice, as of late. But that's another story/another thread and too much of a topic to really debate here.

Quickies in a public place can be fun, but generally, I prefer a marathon over a sprint. Cool

Whoa there, Spokesy!

That's hilarious.

You don't hear me whining about not getting any.

I said interpersonal relationships.  I would consider those different than whatever random hook-ups you happen to garner.

I would also wager that you merely choose not to mention it on here.  Which is wise.

Actually, I just turned old enough a couple weeks ago They're paying for it, is what I meant.

I'm gonna try to get a V-ROD. I can handle being a Harley dude for a few days.

Naw, I knew that's what you meant. Just wanted to kick you in the junk again.

Hey now, what do we really know about Ryan (or any of us)? For all the crap I give him, I actually don't think he's that bad a guy. Who knows, he might be LESS of a d-bag in real life. Many people on here come off as pretty decent human beings. Of course, there are some bad apples. I can tell you right now that a lot of people on here think I'm a total Beeoych, and that's fine with me. The people who've met me in real life don't think I am and know that I'm not quite the same as I am on here. I generally don't consider myself to be fake and I speak the truth on here without much pretext, but it may come across different than if you really knew me in real life. So I wouldn't be too quick to judge.

Dang, talk about a mood killer.

Most guys I know would still take it.

Meh... I'm pretty sure that would pi$$ me off.

Meh... if a girl is saying that, she doesn't care either way if it pisses the guy off!
I've said it before, half joking with a smirk on my face - never really serious... everyone was happy in the end.

When that happens it doesn't bother me.  I am just happy that she is willing to take few minutes.  Better than nothing and makes for funny stories.

I merely stated my thoughts on using Ryan's advice when it comes to thoughts on marriage and interpersonal relationships.  It's like asking my advice on swimming.

You also fail to realize that I'm a grumpy elitist pr!ck, with ASPD.

ACTUALLLLLY, I kept a relationship going for 6 years....which is more than I can say for a lot of other people my age...

I'm well aware of this fact, and have taken it into consideration in forming my thoughts.
