Okay, you know how I've just been through a really tough time (still working things out) and I had been training for IM Malaysia when all this ridiculousness broke loose?

I'm starting totally from zero. I have no energy. It's tough to do basic things or even go for a half-hour run.

But I REALLY BELIEVE and I KNOW things were gonna get better. I needed an act of faith, a dream, a promise to myself.

ooooh you have a GOAL!!! Yes you do... that will help SO much with your focus and all! Way to go!

Of COURSE you can do it!

The swim - no problem for you. You'll leave everyone behind.
The bike - Yep, you can do it.
The run - You've gone that distance before, right? OK, so maybe you didn't do it after a swim and a bike ride -- but you've done it.

Yes, it'll take a lot of training. It *is* an Ironman, after all. But it gives you some good training goals.

Youll et there because you know you can otherwise you would never has signed up... yove got enough sense, no how and experience to know what you are capable of so now its just about focus...

Its funny having something to focus on with a timeline attached really gives your life some order and structure and momentum and direction even when everything else seems really chaotic... I think this will be BRILLIANT for you!

I dunno. I think the race is pretty hard, too. LOL

It is an Ironman, after all.

Now, if it was the Couch Potato Slouch -- well, I could do that one pretty well.

hehe im not saying its easy but all the Ironpeople always seems to say afterwards that getting through all the training (which you HAVE to do to get through the race) was harder than the race (which was really hard but because they trained they were at least prepared for)
