smiled, danced, smiled more, sang a few songs (sorry to those around me!), made 3 porta potty stops, only walking I did were thru a few of the water stations. My daughter and I finished together hand in hand...both with BIG smiles!

Just put bacon-wrapped filets into the oven with the baked potatoes that are almost done.  I wish Neal would end the suspense before dinner is ready.

serendipity - 2009-10-04 8:43 AM Got my first run of the month done this morning.  Just 2 miles, and slow, but it's done!

Way to go Debbie!

Neal!  How'd ya do today?

Impatient for results TOPpage

Great!  Finished in 3:20:08 and set a 22 minute PR!  Was on pace for a BQ until about mile 17 or so when things sorta started going downhill.  Perhaps I'll figure out this pacing thing in another marathon or 2.....

YAAAYY NEAL! Sounds like your race went better than my race! haha

This is basically my overview...the race is called Tuffest Three...three member relay--run-bike-run...run 1-6.9km, bike 23km, run 2-4.6km...it was 3 degrees celcius, 93% humidity and 20km/h winds.....basically all that equals friggin cold....and I had the bike...i couldn't bend my fingers after about 3-4 laps then they gradually started to be okay and I was wearing gloves...and a balaklava..it was pretty darn awesome...haha oh well...Don't know my exact time yet!

I'm currently lying in bed because it is the warmest place I can think of...I just want to sleep...haha...im holding off for now...if i go to bed now I'm not getting up till tomorrow! I don't even know why I'm so tired...I blame the cold though I think!!!

Congrats to Neal and all others who raced today!!!

Wow, you get the HTFU award for today!  I don't blame you for curling up in bed.  The cold can take alot out of you.  All that energy you used shivering.

Take care of yourself tonight.

Hi there team...!!! I think I left you guys at 43 pages, you have all done WELL!! I did a little run yesterday, further than the plan called for, but less than I was actually set out to do. They have had a nasty couger hanging in the area, some hungry bears, and two wolves. It was either take a loop where there were some houses, or have my gma follow me with a car. Yeah, that is what I want, my own personal overweight running critic!

Feels like I've done nothing but eat all weekend.  I'm stuffed again.

Settling in for Sunday night.  Younger kid is taking a shower, older kid is playing guitar hero, and I've got to tackle the kitchen.  Luckily hubby loved dinner and is happy to help now.

UGGGHHH....I really dislike Sunday nights...they are just so depressing...they mean I have to go to work...and that it is 5 whole days to a weekend...but I may take Friday off to clean and get ready for my parents to come visit next weekend.  They are coming to watch my DH run the Chicago Marathon.
