Im a bit worried because ive been a bit undisiplined in the past week with training due to trying to get my stuff in order to leave for Vic! Ahhh...just havent been running enough :s ...hope my run fitness hasnt dived...my last long long run was over 2 weeks ago...nervous!Oh well! My fault i guess! Ahhh...and its really stormy out..so looks like the best i can do when i get home is get on the trainer for a bit? Hmmm  :sTAPER!!!! You will be fine. You are a rock star and a Ghoulie. |

Nothing to brag about Tom. How about you? Hey, lost my emoticons???? Is this a mac thing? Anyway, work has been busy, hence my absence from the village during the day lately. Much as I miss hanging out, I really do like being crazy busy at work. Today I had to slide out during the middle of the day to take the old cat to the vet. He wasn't right when I got up this morning. Totally threw my schedule into shreds, but you do what you gotta do. Turns out we just need to increase his BP meds. His systolic was through the roof, but thankfully the retinas didn't detach. He's 19 yo, which I think is ancient in human years. Ok, gotta get out of the suit and into sweats. Back later. Hit reply, then hit refresh before you type your reply. The whole tool bar should re-appear. I had that problem for a long time, then I had to use the refresh thing. Now it's just plain ok without me having to tinker. So nice!! I know there was a thread over in the Tech support/questions forum (not the real name of the forum. I can't remember it, sorry. ) |

Missing a few runs in the week or 2 leading up to race aren't going to hurt too much. Your run fitness isn't going to tank in that short amount of time. Enjoy yourself. You're going to be fine. |

I didn't notice any drop in performance and beat my goal. I did the same thing for two weeks after the half, and after a month of reduced volume I do notice a difference. Good luck and have fun! While Neal is completely and totally dedicated to being the best employee he can be, he is under a little bit of stress right now due to his impending attempt to Escape From Alcatraz, which is not related to illegal activities in any way (he is too good to ever be caught). He is concerned that this slight distraction could hurt productivity and he has nothing but the companies best interest in mind. Please support Neal in is effort to better the company, while living a healthy and meaningful lifestyle by allowing this paid time off.
