Chicken breasts and pasta.lisac957 - 2013-01-24 11:00 PM Is it dinner talk time? I made this quinoa puntanesca. The combination of crushed tomatoes, kalamata olives, capers, garlic, and white wine is phenomenal. Plus the entire recipe is only 1000 calories. I ate half for dinner, worked out, and haven't gotten hungry yet! that sounds tastey and super easy. would be great with some salmon too, for us carnivores.
Yup, I think I'm on that bandwagon, too. Salmon included (and maybe parmesan crusted). The great thing about frigid cold days like this is that I can grocery shop at lunch and just leave the stuff in my car.
In unrelated news, a drunk man apparently decided to have sex with a snowman and now has frostbite on his netherbits: http://96xrocks.com/frostbite-on-penis/
Do you have a recipe for that parmesean crusted salmon? |

Morroco might be your ticket if you're into that kind of place. Fez, Marrakech, then a few days at the beach (Agadir)... still no clue. the more i look into it the more i want to go to morocco but i'm going to have trouble convincing the other half. Its not the kind of place thats for everybody for sure, but if you're up for someplace a little different, some activity but not over the top, and then a few days on the beach, its not a bad destination. I would probably avoid North Africa for a few months. It'll be fine next year not around Sept 11th and not around Ramadan or any other pilgrimage time... Morrocco has been stable forever, but Algeria has been stable since WWII and look what happened there 2 weeks ago. Go to Spain where gr33n lives. It's a lot like Morrocco, but with more to do actually.
Actually theres more truth to that than you know. The saying is Africa starts at the Pyrenees... Anyhow the dates might coincide with the running of the bulls in Pamplona which is an adventure and a half. From there you could continue up to Barcelona, or down through Valencia, Granada, Seville, and finish with a couple days in Marbella. All that of course after the obligatory stop off in Madrid... |

Elite ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() No, I was just going to wing it... probably just a simple mix of bread crumbs and grated parmesan (or full-on parmigiano-reggiano if you're feeling fancy), maybe add some herbs to it. Press the salmon into themix, then cook in a skillet in an olive oil/butter mix, or perhaps just broil it. |

Worse that that I was not wearing heels at the time so I don't even have tha excuse.

Champion ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Wow got an actual real call for once at work and fixed it while on the phone, love that. Had to wade through wrong electrical manuals and had the guy checking fuses for power on the phone but got it fixed after a 30 min call. Most of the day are either lazy, untrained, or stupid people calling in so with the lazy or stupid it's an annoying call. With the untrained it's more of a teaching lesion over the phone but again it's rare with them we fix the problem on the first call so with something like this it makes me like my job again and remember why they hired me. |
