Beth, that doesn't give me much hope for her getting better at putting stuff away she's the one with my gloves though and she isn't coming out till I have those gloves back (insists she returned them but they aren't in the closet where they belong)

I don't have much room to talk, when I was a kid, my room was bad like that -

in fact, our house was broken into once when I was in HS and the police couldn't tell whether or not they had gone through my room - LOL

of course, my mother decided to tell my daughter this story, so............my arguments are pretty useless

FWIW - my room doesn't look like that anymore :-)

hmm, trying to remember the time zone difference between here and there.  Nah, guess it isn't so bad.  A lot of days I stay in jammies until I have to change to go to the gym--they're just more comfortable

LOL - they are, aren't they

I keep telling myself that it's ok since I don't make a habit of it - (well at least this late)

Our house was broken it to as well.  The kid (a former friend of my younger bro) took some of my dad's hunting guns...He didn't touch anythig else in the house except my older sister's room where he may have dumped a dresser drawer out.  Police get to the room and write ranszcked on the report to which my mother had to correct and say "It always looks like ths"  Older bro was tight with the cops so he had the kid on suicide watch at the jail which meant every 15 or 20 min they banged the stick on the bars to make sure he was okay...Oh yeah, we got the stuff back and he never touched our house again

Good story!

we never found out who broke into our house -

we actually figured out that I walked in when they were there - and they exited out of the back door when I came in the front -

Wow, it's so quite in here.  I was actaully able to read the update and pages in between without seeing more pages appear in that time.

I imagine, once everyone's back at work tomorrow it will be different.

All the talk of laundry and decorating has me worn out (as I hear my hubby rotating laundry).  Wonder if my 4 yr old could handle putting up the tree? (hahaha)

Got all the kids shopping done (minus one pari of Shrek pajamas).  It filled up a 54 gal and a 28 qt storage containers in the basement.  Anymore and I would have had to start using the ice chests. Will have to use them to hide hubby's I think.

Hey Beth,

See you're back online... How was your swim?  Any interesting people at the pool today?

It sure is lonely around here today.

lyssa-gator - 2007-11-25 12:23 PM ugh, i haven't even started decorating yet, having an almost one year old is making me put it off, he's darn in to everything!!
sounds like the one year old can be worse than the cats and dogs around decorations. Have fun Lyssa.

Ha - cats and decorations... for years, when I had one or more cats... the tree pretty much had only lights... and was sometimes anchored to the ceiling... flying leaps (by the cat) into the tree were just a bit more excitement than I, and the fragile ornaments, were willing to risk.

LOL

Hi Heather, my swim was good - I did a nice little technique workout that is amazing, just updated my blog :-)

Funny you should ask, tadpole guy was there - this time he waited until after his swim to do his funky dry land exercises - I just mostly wish he would invest in a new swim suit!

It was even slower yesterday :-)

I'm impressed!  I haven't even started - got one thing this weekend that I purchased over the internet - truth to be told, I'm having a horrible time coming up with ideas.

the operation did help. They unhooked the tendon from the bone spur. It was relatively minor. someone else I know had a more invasive surgery on hers. She was off her feet for weeks, where as I was walking that weekend (with a soft shoe and slowly).

PF is sure some nasty stuff isn't it?!

I keep wondering if somehow the top of my foot thing is somehow indirectly related - probably not, it just really stinks that it flared up right when the PF was feeling like it was gone

do you have high arches? I know I have problems with the top of my foot because of my high arches. It is hard to find shoes that don't hurt me there. Seriously going now to the help desk. Bye

I have high arches, and have had trouble with PF in the past.  I modify the way that I lace my shoes, skipping the criss-cross over the top of my foot, and it greatly reduces the pressure... much more comfort on the top.
