So I decided not to go play softball and still haven't gotten anything done...

Was interesting however,  the new pool manager and the lead custodian had a very heated discussion in my office over who the water hose belongs to.

Is the correct answer the County by chance?

me?  a gov't employee?  Yep... so be why I spend so much time online...LOL...

No - I meant the owner of the hose.  But I agree - been there done that!

But is it Recreation's or Park's????   Gotta love our building

So I just got my wetsuit in the mail for my Xterra next week and I found a sprint this Saturday and I am thinking hey great way to TRI it out (Man am I good ).  But there is a 10 mile trail run Sunday on the XTerra course that I can scope out before hand.

What do you guys suggest?

I love last minute race decisions!

This never works for me cuz I'm such an adrenalin junkie, but maybe you could do the sprint and not RACE it. Tri (good one) out the wetsuit, spin your legs on the bike and do an ez jog. And still be good for your trail run.

Do both?  Brilliant and then my wife will surely hate me.  Does that mean more training time though

Nope - it is one or the other.  I am trying not to push the envelope too much since she agreed to Philly Marathon the other day.

you are a wise man

You can always take the wetsuit to the pool and try it out during a training swim. That was all the practice I had in mine before my first race with it. Gotta keep the Missus happy

I know I will be starting back the week school starts. Told my boss I am flexible as long as he schedules me in the morning for 2-3 days a week. So not sure what days yet. He'll tell me soon enough I guess.

Another fun day at the library. The air is not working in my office, the break room, back office and magazine room. It is 81 degrees. The main area is now at 76 degrees. Too warm. The air guy was out and said new compressor for one unit and that nothing was wrong with the other unit. But it has gone up 4 degrees in the last hours I said. He left. Guess he does not want to deal with a hot cranky librarian.

At least we know you are out training. You are excused. Dee, however, must be sprung from werk! Just pop in whenever you get a chance.
