The only slightly uncomfortable thing is, she opened up her "bag o gifts" in front of her friends and they were included. I felt a tiny bit sheepish. I always though it would be hard for you guys to make the purchase in the store?? I went with my sister in law. She is roughly the same size, and same tastes. I did the choosing, but ran it by her to get the thumbs up. She was a good sport about it. |

I got waited on by a daughter of some friends from church. That was funny. Knowing you guys go through the effort and to a store where you are not in your comfort zone just alone makes me want to do ya! Ha! It doesn't bother me too much. I have shopped for daughters' presents at VS a few times. We usually had a Christmas shopping blitz at the mall. Divide the list and see how quickly we could get it all. I didn't mind. VS was one of the easier places to get help and find what you were looking for. Maybe I'll go back for a surprise present. What are the odds J will be suspicious? |

What do you like to get? I am not a big gift person. Never have been. Receiving gifts like jewelry and lingerie to me is like "meh" because it does nothing for me. I would rather have their time and attention over stuff. My last BF was a big gift giver .. and he gave me things that had to do with my interests which I really loved. Tripod, new camera, camera bag, books, Photoshop, etc. .... he'd buy me lots of little things too that were fun and playful and he ALWAYS paid for everything when we went out! It's just sexy underpinnings and jewelry that I prefer to pick out myself if I feel the need. Sounds like he was hard to give up |
