I have another opinion needed question but this is for those of you who have boobs that actually move when you workout... What do you suggest one wears during a sprint triathlon? I HAVE to wear something that keeps the girls from knocking me out but am thinking that wearing a sports bra the whole time would be really uncomfortable. Do they make things designed for those of us who actually have boobs? During my biathlon I wore just my bathing suit and it worked fine (it's tight fitting with a generic built in bra) but that was only 1.5 mile. There is no way I could wear that for much more ~ not to mention it would be extremely uncomfortable on the bike. I wear a sports bra under my tri shirt that also has a built in bra. You do need to invest in a sports bra that is comfortable. I've been able to wear mine for hours and no problems. |

Champion 7546 Santa Cruz, California | Subject: RE: Taser Roasted Peeps Happychick - 2009-03-10 5:33 PM K, I have a serious question here...it's more like a poll... What kind of HRM do you have? What bells and whistles are included? What do you use it for? How do you like it? Would you recommend it to a friend? I really, really want to get one but aren't sure if I should just get plain jane HRM or one that has other options. I'm curious if they are worth the money and how user friendly they are. just gave my dd my old GARMIN 305...and when she got it she could not get it to work...so being the good mother I am...I bought her the new 405...funny I just got off the phone with her and she LOOOOOOOOOOOVES it! she said it gives her much more then her last watch did...and she said some she still has to figure out.... I have a POLAR S150 watch...displays heart rate as beats per minute can program workouts with target heart range target zones and recovery calcs. records the entire file of the exercise has a lap timer! cycling: speed an distance (hard wired sensor)....have a computer on bike that I get this info from....but I do like it! I am not that hard core that i need the garmin. Hope this helps! everyone I have talked to said that the 405 is the one to have! I love data...but not that much!..not sure I can drop another $300 to get one for me!??! |

The suction cup thingy is the Finis Lap Track: http://www.swimoutlet.com/product_p/5204.htm Never used it myself, but it seems like a good idea. I use my pull buoy to count laps (move it over a brick), but even then, will lose count. The best way is by time, though. If your pool has a big swim clock or by your watch and if you know your average lap time, some quick math should tell you how many laps. The swim clock is easier than a digital watch for me because I don't have to remember numbers, just the position of the clock hands. Edited by kvesey 2009-03-11 6:36 AM |

Girl Passing on Left - 2009-03-10 9:31 PM those are the best teams to play against! I am a good batter and my dh and I would go to the batting cages and practice and one game we played I came up to bat...guess my number four position in the line up didnt warn them that I was the sweep and could bat better then some of the guys who had never really played before (our team sucked but we had fun doing so) and the pitcher turned to the outfielders and waved them in...they came in....and he turned around and waved them further in....and then he turned and pitched to me....I belted one over thier heads and ended up getting an inside the park home run thanks to his miscalculations.....it was funny cuz when we played them later in the year...he seemed to remember that I was cabable of hitting and did not pull his little antics of come in boys...its a girly batting! showed him! we still lost big time! and I grew up in a family of sports playing fanatics...played basketball 7 years, baseball 8, volleyball 1, tennis team, 2 years, never played soccer! and even though I swam on the swim team I must have been thier handicap cuz I suk at it now! I do remember getting a few ribbons... OBTW...that guy is my boss that waved everyone in! and he is such a nice person...at the time..I thought what a jerk! goes to show that first instincts are not always correct! ok...done rambling! I also would like to play on a coed team...but I think I now would be have to find a senior softball team to play on!!! OUCH! reality check! IM OLD!!!! ;( Ha! There is nothing better than belting one over their heads! Or diving for a shot down the line and gunning them out at first. Only takes once before they get the idea that you're a ball player! I was a sports fanatic as well - softball, basketball, swimming thru high school. And in college I moved on to rugby. Now that was fun! Nothing better than a full contact sport to get your aggression out! my brother played rugby in college. OI. im tellin ya. he has both his ears, but i think he only has half a brain left. i tell him all the time, when hes acting like a complete you know what... HOW MANY SHOTS CAN ONE TAKE TO THE HEAD?? course they were always pretty liquored up afterwards. NOT suggesting YOU'VE lost your mind.... RUGBY. who invents a sport like that?
