Relax. You'll be fine.

I only had 2 runs in during the month of January, before my HM. And my longest run leading up to it was 10 miles. I think Tom was pretty much in the same boat.

I have another this weekend and I haven't run in 2 weeks because of my stubborn hamstring.

We don't want to work 40 or more hours a week when it is beautiful and sunny outside and you don't appreciate our efforts. Hell we don't want to work 40 hours or more a week when it's raining and ugly outside if you don't appreciate our efforts. We want to get outside! We want to run! We want to bike! We want to swim! We want to be healthy and enjoy our lives!

We would like to propose 20 hour workweeks. If we could work 4, 5 hour days we would still get our work done. You would be happy, we would be happy, the world would be happy. We would still expect to make the same salary of course.

So you employers of the world talk about this. Talk about how great it would to have happy productive workers. Talk about the money you would save in health care and lost time. Talk about the money you would save because you don't have to run the heat or air conditioning as many hours during the day, or have the lights on. Talk about how you could boast your company as a GREEN company now.

We may even be able to compromise a little and put in a few more hours, if you let us do it from home. You may be surprised at the great ideas that come to someone while they are out on a long run or bike ride.
