Expert 715 Twin Cities | Subject: RE: They Who Shall Not Be Named (Twisnibbins) IV kns57 - 2007-11-25 3:55 PM milaminute - 2007-11-25 4:22 PM I think that dogs are related to goats. All the dogs I know eat all this stuff that should rightfully kill them or make them sick. My dog ate the wires between the house and the air conditioning unit outside. There we were middle of July and we turned on the air to find it wasn't getting cold. Call the repair guy. I'm sitting in the driveway with the dog (mixed breed) and the repair guy comes walking from the back of the house. He comments "That's an expensive dog you have there." I reply, "No he's just a mutt." Repairman "No, I mean that's one expensive dog. He's going to cost you $6oo. He ate the wires between the house and the airconditing units." I was dumbfounded. Needless to say, that weekend we put a fence around the aircondioning units.Yoganerd - 2007-11-25 5:00 PM kaqphin - 2007-11-25 2:56 PM Yoganerd - 2007-11-26 8:32 AM kns57 - 2007-11-25 11:27 AM lyssa-gator - 2007-11-25 12:23 PM ugh, i haven't even started decorating yet, having an almost one year old is making me put it off, he's darn in to everything!! sounds like the one year old can be worse than the cats and dogs around decorations. Have fun Lyssa.Ha - cats and decorations... for years, when I had one or more cats... the tree pretty much had only lights... and was sometimes anchored to the ceiling... flying leaps (by the cat) into the tree were just a bit more excitement than I, and the fragile ornaments, were willing to risk. LMAO!!!! Thats fabulous! I think I may have to go searching for Simpsons decorations this year... anyone know if they exist? Oh... to add more excitement... those little silver-plastic icicles / tinsel that you painstakingly hang over the branches... no... cats eat that stuff... and what goes in, must come out... envision a cat racing from the kitty box... yup, trailing tinsel... and, um, a human must intervene. To avoid further gastric distress, that was the last time I put tinsel on a tree! Oh nooooooooo!!! I can only imagine. My old dog once ate an entire bag of holiday wrapped Hershey's kisses, you know, with the red, green and silver foil? Now, when I say the entire bag I mean the plastic bag that contained all the kisses as well as every last kiss. No evidence. I couldn't understand what happened to that bag of kisses. I left them on the counter and thought I was going crazy when I couldn't find it. Welllll... fortunately, he had a steel stomach (this dog seriously ate some crazy stuff over the years and never got sick) so didn't get violently ill from the chocolate... and the only way I knew what had happened was because his poop was very, ummmm, "festive"!!!!
ROTFLMAO!!! So... $600 + $ of fence material Yup, I believe that "goat" is a good description... had one that had an affinity for drywall, including the wall outlet. He's the same one that ate the recliner and the futon... and lived to tell about it (not due to what he ingested, either...). And, in the other breath I say, "let me be the person my dog thinks I am". |

Master 1870 Fort Worth | Subject: RE: They Who Shall Not Be Named (Twisnibbins) IV Ok, so I couldn't take a nap like I planned. I tell you today was awesome and a great experience. My kids were there and they thought dad was cool. We had a celebration lunch afterwards and the family hit the road or the airlines. Here's some pictures: Excitement fills the air, till we hit the water!
What was I thinking! JK the water was great! Freestyle all the way!
Get off the bike retard, your still in the transition area! I can laugh at myself. (Yanti stop looking at my butt) LOL
Finally got it right and I'm off!
This transition stuff sucks, got to be easier.
And I'm off again, must think fast happy thoughts!
Is it over? Did I win?
Hey buddy, I'm a triathlete now, get this thing off of me.
Oh yeah, another member of BT was there that I ran into. I took her picture as she made it across the finish line (sealiongirl). Good job girl!

There was nice pace booty there but there was this guy about ten years older then I was that motivated me. He didn't say anything but we had the same pace all the way through the run. He knew I was there and we stayed neck in neck till the last 1/2 mile where he then pulled away. He beat me by 4 seconds. Funny the things that motivate you. |

By the time the 12 yr old "cleans" her room today I'll have at least 3 more to do...Yeah, the stuff on the floor gets tossed in the laundry so she doesn't have to put it away. Problem is I can't always tell what's clean/folded and SHOULD have been put away cause she just dumps the clean laundry on the floor mixed in with the stuff she's worn ( for all of 20 minutes) all over the floor. should just make her wash her own clothes but she's so lazy that she'd just wear the same dirty stuff all the ime. We just got her to start combing her hair through (LOTS OF HAIR ON THAT HEAD) It's as if you've described my daughter and her laundry putting away, clothes wearing, hair combing attitude to a tee, but she's only nine... aye yie yie. it's scary, cause I have always been the neat freak organizer. This child has serious messy genes in her blood compliments of my maternal grandmother and my in laws. Hopefully these kids will outgrow the mess. BTW, her "cleaning" consisted of shoving it all under her bed and in the closet so she could go tyouth group. My sister (the one whose room was described as ransacked) is still a slob--Idon't go to her house if I can help it and thankfully she lives a great distance from us so that doesn't come up too much |

I showed up early and asked the right question which led to a great experience. I just drove down from San Dimas and I'm tired so I'm taking a nap. I promise when I wake up I will give you the full report with pictures included. By the way i have met my challenge for the month and even exceeded it. Thanks everyone for the motivation. I dont think you grow out of it 100% neccessarily but the amount of mess you can tolerate goes down, especially when you are sharing your place with someone. I find that I can be very naughty and things get out of hand but the mess gets to me much sooner now so there is hope! |

Hopefully that nice dentist will fix you right up. I got confused on wo had the tinsel-eating cat and wiring chewing dog, but yikes! My cat is 15 and doesn't really care about the holiday decorations anymore. But when he was young we would often come hoe from work to find the tree on its side! We even bought an ornament that said "Oh no! Here comes the cat!" The kids fight over who gets to put that on. |
