You mean there's more than just a bank in Brandon????

Um, well, to be fair.... I'm sure that I was somehow involved in the posting of said "motivational" photos.

Of course, those brain cells have long since been fried, so I don't remember exactly how I was involved.

I know - let's blame it on Sal and Hector.

Especially since Hector is MIA on BT, and Sal is on vacation....

kns57 - 2008-08-21 10:43 PM Beth, if you get 8 gold stars and hand them around your neck like Phelps then maybe Mark Spitz will talk about you in an article.
Or CNN will ask Amanda Beard if she wants to sleep with you.

Kristen, you crack me up!

oh and I humbly accept the nomination   ROTFLMA!

McDonalds - Yummy!  No we are doing a big study for them - I don't eat there!

Please do on the pasta joint - sounds like a good place for dinner.

Mapquest said Moab is 3 hours from Riverton.  Do you think longer?  I hope not too much  - I usually beat Mapquest times by about 30 minutes and since I can take breaks in the desert without having to go in to a store should be faster right?

Let's see McD's in Magna.... yep did breakfast from there after first tri... good...
McD's in T'ville.... done breakfast there, b/c of fun playground for kids, and it IS right next to Wal-Mart
McD's in Riverton...  actually been by it MANY times (twice yesterday) but never been in it....

I would say 4 hours to Moab.... and be careful of the cops on the south side of Price (little town called Wellington).... there's a school zone there and I SWEAR they have it activiated ALL day long...  It has been a while since I've been to Moab... but it's usu. 3 to 3 1/2 hours before I hit I-70 when heading to Denver.  And I know you have a little ways to go after you get off I-70...

They have me going US-6 to US-191.  Maybe that is where the time savings is.

Thanks for the Police warning.  I might have a warrant out in Utah that I don't know about (since I have never been there - I doubt it )

You still have to hop on 70 for about 5 or 10 miles...  but yes, that's the route... Wellington is on HWY 191....

Good afternoon, Nibbs!

Last week, we got a cat. This week, we may be getting a car. My hubby has the itch for a Honda Element. So I may be parting with my mini van. I've driven it for 7 years. Not sure what I will do without it. I'll get to drive the Accord now. My hubby leased it and the lease is up in 8 months. That should be an optimal period to find out if I must get another van. I love my van. It is versatile. But it would be kind of nice to drive something different for the next 7-10 years.

Cool - Element.  I am toying with one of those also!  A step up from a cat I think though

Love the Accord - they are smooth and fast!  Just like my Cannondale LOL

Actually, they kind of go together. You know. Cat + Box I'm excited. Hubby said he'd let me drive it tomorrow to a group ride I'm doing with my riding buddy. Get to compare the ease of traveling with two bikes in the Element vs. the van. The ultimate test

That is why I am looking at it!  So I can scrap the bike rack and just put them inside!

That's what I do with my van. I can roll two inside it and don't even have to take off the front wheels!
