I didn't exactly drop it, but it did tweak my back while slowly falling into the bed of my truck.

LazyMarathoner - 2008-09-12 11:31 AM Post padders, I need opinions. I bought a new bike right after my crash. After face planting at 19mph, I figured, "hey, I'm worth it." I got the Cervelo P2C Ultegra, which has a black/gray frame. I could have cared less about the difference between the Ultegra and DA build because I'm just not that good of a cyclist. But I kind of preferred the red/white color scheme of the DA. Long story short (I know, too late), it turns out my LBS can put the red/white frameset on my ultegra build for no extra charge. Red is my racing color, but it's mostly white anyway. So my question is, which do you like from a purely aesthetic standpoint? Here are the two colors:

Red bikes are faster...

movingsouth - 2008-09-12 4:43 PM I have a couple or more pages to catch up on. I'm tired. my ankles still grieve me. I have a 5K race tonight. ARGH!

Hope you kicked a$$!

Thanks.  it was a decent run.  I DID run the whole distance. I didn't curse anyone outloud.  I did push to the end with little gas left for anything resembling a kick.  I did see another BT'r - she cheered my final 20 yards

Congrats!

That's what everyone says, and I agree. But it's mostly white and white feels... well, white. Not very exciting. When I get my sweet custom built, custom painted Guru Crono (uh, after I win the lottery), I'll go with all red

SLAM! Don't you know it's not nice to rip on a girl with a broken shoulder who is forced to swim in a sling with one arm??? You should look at these pictures and feel bad. Really, really bad.
