iowagander - 2009-12-30 9:32 PM I'm still here - what's up with you tonight???

just hanging out.

jim and the kids went to bed.

im just not in the mood to sleep.  so not like me.

YOU?

I'm currently being serenaded by the sounds of Hannah Montana on TV and the sight of a kitchen I don't want to clean. Typical night in San Diego!

So did you feel the earthquake today/yesterday?  I caught part of the news story.  Sounds like everything is okay?

I couldn't feel the earthquake where I was, but maybe that's just because I'm dense Yes though, I don't think there was any major damage anywhere which is good.

Good morning Ghoulies!!!!

It is snowing here today, which is better than the ice they were calling for. I drove our 4-wheel drive truck today instead of my 5 pound car. I'm only working until 11 so hopefully I don't have any problems driving home.

Stacie has her big swim today, what does everyone else have on tap? Any big parties tonight?

Happy last day of 2009, and here's to a FABULOUS 2010 for ALL!!!!!

Does anyone here make New Year's resolutions?

I used to, but I could never keep them, now I don't. If I want to change something  I just change it, I'm not waiting until a new year to start a new Ann. It is kind of a joke now every year that I say my New Year's resolution is "No trips to the emergency room in 2010 (or whatever the year is). In 2007 I was there 4 times, I should be good for awhile. I wasn't there in 08, or 09, I'm hoping to keep the tradition going in 10!

Probably a trainer ride after work since my pool is closing early today.  I'm not sure what I'm up to tonight.  No big party to go to so I will probably end up hanging out with my brother.

One of my good friends with whom I have celebrated countless New Years Eves together since we were like 7 years old is being lame and staying home with his girlfriend.  I'm not going to let him forget this for awhile.

Morning Ghoulies!  Snowing here today.  I have an extra hot, skim, decaffe latte from the local coffee shop.  Didn't bother getting dressed.  Threw my coat on over the jams.  Traded slippers for snow boots. Back home in front of the fire. Checking in on the village, listening to the Today show and watching the white stuff come down.  Nice morning.

I was in a Hallmark store right before Christmas. They had a display of different glasses for adult beverages, they were all decorated up, and you could guy just a single glass. I was looking at the margarita ones, but they had wine glasses as well.

im with BOTH of you. [along w the ER 'resolution' but for my boys, not for me.  LOL]

though.

i dont make resolutions, i set INTENTIONS.

I INTEND TO THIS....I INTEND TO THAT....

one of my intentions (seperate from the Tri ones...) this new year is to meet at least one new person a day.  take the time/make space to hear their 'story', listen for the 'lesson' and then apply that lesson to my own life.

well that.

among others.

heres to 2010 being OUR year!

My husband and kids will be going down the road to his niece's house, she is having the party this year.

I am staying home with a bottle of Wild Turkey American Honey that I was given for Christmas. I'll have my bottle, my warm fuzzy blanket that my daughter got me for Christmas, my fuzzy bunny slippers, that I also got from the giver of the bottle, and a couple of movies. THAT is a relaxing evening to me.

I got up at 4 this morning, and I was up a lot coughing last night, I won't be awake by midnight anyway!
