No amount of caffein seems to be doing the trick today.  I wish we had cooler summers.  I would be tempted to nap in the car over lunch.

Could be I stay up all night to watch the 'Lympics, then nap for just a few hours.

Asalzwed - 2012-08-02 10:12 AM I have a total crush on Brenda.

I wish she was my neighbor.  Again, for the cookies.

Right, that's what I mean. I love cookies.

Warning: as the day goes on Brenda gets drunker ... sometimes she gets cranky.  But while perusing the newest S&H Rewards catalog the other day she did see a product called a "personal massager".  She promptly gathered up all the Green Stamps she had been saving up from her many trips to the grocery store to buy cooking sherry and headed out to redeem them at the local Green Stamp store.

So, Brenda's going to be busy product-testing the personal massager for the afternoon?

Apparently, the washing machine spin cycle is not working anymore.

Working out first thing in the morning is easy - when morning is whenever you decide to get out of bed.  During my year off, I started every morning with a workout...

the flip side of that is afternoon workouts in the heat. yesterday was an hour "sprint" bike ride in 107 degree heat... "but its a dry heat" (waiting for teejay to chime in here) ok yeah so go ride your bike in the over its the same thing... it was brutal but fun all at the same time

I rode last night at 7.  It was still 92 with a feels like temp of 101.  Even the wind was hot.  I hate August in Houston.

I'm trying to structure it so I swim in the mornings, bike late morning/early afternoon, run in the late afternoon/early evening. Kinda when the IM times would be.

Of course, I rarely swim, so that really helps Tongue out
